What i think and these are my assumptions which may or may not be true :

SAMAY is really obsessed with Maya and can do anything to get her back in his life.

Samay and Maya might have been in a relationship and something went wrong between the two. What exactly happened i am not sure

Samay is aware about Maya's hidden sach and he would not let it come out in front of the world at any cost...It means that Samay can be a key in unlocking Maya's past !

Samay was really willing to KILL Saanjh although he knows that Saanjh is a good person as he himself said in his monologue..This shows that he can go to any extent to please Maya and win her love and trust

I also think that Samay is doing all of Maya's dirty work , he was involved in Maya's plan to frame Ayaan and he will keep helping Maya

As far as that SCENE was concerned i think Saanjh was just trying to scare Samay by burning some random papers and saying stuff like I know the truth and all and she and her parents thought that same way Samay was scaring Saanjh. 😆

Tumhein apni sachchai ki asli tasveer dikha Raha Hoon Saanjh..This line he might have said coz before killing her he would have told her the truth about himself and Maya coz he thought Saanjh already knew it and hence he decided to kill her...He would have said the complete truth but Suman and Prem entered that time...So, he would have shown his real face to Saanjh that he was in love with Maya and to win her back he can go to any extent even if it means killing Saanjh..This is what i interpreted

I don't think they told each other anything...he was again back to pretending to be a nice guy hence the dialogues khuli kitaab and all...Samay always says sensible things except when he is infront of Maya 😆

His intention was to kill Saanjh despite knowing that she is a good person but for Maya he was willing to cross the line, shows his Beyhadh obsession. So, he was sorry but NOT sorry...hence the line Tum Ek bohot achchi ladki ho...I mean Ek achchi ladki thi...Lekin yeh Sach baahar nahi aa sakta...Main Maya ko nahi kho sakta...I'm really sorry Saanjh"...& He picks up the knife..."agar Maya ko Khush rakhna Hai toh tumhein hamesha me liye khamosh hona padega, Saanjh...I m sorry"

I think he was talking about Maya's SACH and his past relation with her which he knows but can't let it out in front of the world when he said kuch sach bahar nahi aa sakte !

That thank u and Sorry was probably coz She was sorry for what happened in the court and thank u for understanding her and being here with her today.

I don't think both have told anything to each other

Maya's truth and her past will get revealed sooner or later, now i think the key will either be Jhanvi or Samay who knowingly or unknowingly might end up helping Saanjh and co in unlocking Maya's past.

I think Samay might get killed in the future maybe by Maya herself or because of her if she sees him as a threat.

I don't think he is a positive character but I might be wrong and CVs might surprise us with a twist in the tale one can never know...But right now i feel he is not a positive character.

Let's wait and watch 😃

Khushi, I basically agree with everything Anshvi has said above. These are the kind of discussions we all have already had and for the rest, you know my views. Having said that, I'd like to appreciate your effort of having looked into those episodes so keenly. Some good questions raised but for now, I don't think I have an answer that makes enough sense for them. I'd be one among the happiest lot if your Samay theories come true because even though I'm 90% convinced that he's a desi version of Desi Collings, I haven't been able to let go off of that 10% of hope. 😳

I have same thing to say about all the 4 Candles scene.
There also look like the 4 Candles it is the 4 character of the story. Arjun, Maya and Saanjh our the 3 Red Candles and Samay is the White Candles as he say he also see the true. meaning that He going to make big change in the all story.

The second thought that come to my mind about the Candles scene is
The 3 Red Candles symbolize Love, Passion and Also blood. And the white candle symbolize the True. It look like Samay just end the wall acting and sawing his real face.

"Does Samay leaving the white candle burning mean that
1) Samay stands for peace, truth, purity & aims to destroy the negative energy in Maaya?
2)Will he be the one to show Maya the direction to heal her emotions & bring peace for her & all those around her who are suffering?
3)Will Samay provide the protection to Arjun's loved ones who are reeling under the onslaught of Maya's obsessive manipulations & wrongdoings?"

This is exactly what I've been thinking. There is a huge possibility that although Samay is coming off as crazy as Maya, but he could actually be the only individual who can truly understand her emotions and "heal" her. He hasn't been given much role so far, but the story line is obviously going somewhere. Considering he's always saying "samay hamesha waqt dekhkar aata hai."

If Samay has any common sense, he should have understood by this time-uniting Arjun & Saanjh will be logically the first step for him to claim Maya!
Killing Saanjh Or Arjun is definitely a foolish act!
If Maya is angry with Saanjh or even frustrated with Arjun (I doubt if ever she will!), then he can step in to comfort her!
He has to win her trust back if she fees that he betrayed her last time!
But Maya trusts none , so that option takes nowhere!
He has to exploit her sense of insecurity! He has to show her whenever she feels threatened with such insecurities it is him and not Arjun, standing for her! He has to plan & engineer such situations!
He has to work for her divorce rather than planning anybody's death!
But, is he a normal thinking person?
He is another cranky character ideally suited for Maya! Hope, he is not another sociopath!
As sociopaths never pick-up a strong willed person for their games! They are very careful in picking their victims!

There have been quite a few symbolic scenes to convey that Samay is +ve, though his monologues last week suggested that he is -ve...

Hence, the CVs clearly intend to keep us confused...,though, their hints at Samay being +ve are veiled to a large extent...

1)goldfish scene- Maya wanted to kill the goldfishes, while Samay wanted to protect them
2) Samay leaving the white candle burning while extinguishing the red candles
3) Samay saying dialogues like "SIRF Sach dekhta Hoon, etc etc"

On the other hand, Samay holding the knife at Saanjh's neck was too OTT, imo...But Shubh said something like, "too good! Ekdum psycho type feeling di aapne"...So was it just some skit kind of for the Mathurs???...I m so confused...
