Celebs have always tainted a cause for me, so I do not look to them for anything except acting 😆. I do get my causes from family, friends, news and lately real life. .

Actors Opinions on:

Politics and Religion - NO

Actors got burnt at the stake for giving their views on those topics so best to stay out of that zone.

Whatever they say abt those issues only puts them in trouble but actually has no effect in real life.

Social issues, Charitable causes - YES

Actors speaking on social issues, gender issues, and charitable causes definitely brings focus on those topics, invites discussions, and highlights those issues or causes. General public and media take the cue from famous actors talking abt those issues or causes and that is beneficial for society in the long run.

Carole Lombard actually brought the cattle on set. 😆 She was amazing person. No wonder Clark Gabel went crazy after her death..

Just 33 and dies along with her mother and Gable's agent in a plane crash while traveling for collecting war bonds during WW II 😕 Gable lost his wife, MIL, his agent who was also a close friend...

Gable married twice after that but wanted to be interred beside her when he died in 1960

Later when asked about it Hitchcock said with a straight face "I've been misquoted, I'll never say such a thing, what I said was all actors should be treated like cattle" 😆
