I might have followed a bit too many shows of EK that I don't find this show as something new... I marathoned the 1st week's places and found myself FF'ing at many places, I thought this would be a positive show but its filled with too many negatives and also an unnecessary thriller, Whats with the suspense around FL!! Kishwer's character's words ruined my ears. I bet on Sarika turning vamp in the future.

I thought I would get a new story in which I'll get to watch that overweight people are also beautiful in their own way but what I got to watch is they can be beautiful only on inside, beautiful heart and spirit. I want to watch a progressive show where they wouldn't call an overweight person as moti bhais or with some other ridiculous name. I don't find it interesting as the characters or rather the show seems to be predictable.

Plzz show, I'm craving for something mew... stop giving the same old pickle in a new jar. I'll watch for another couple of weeks before I might call it quits.

Hi,

I appreciate your views/opinions but this is just my opinion..

Surely you cant judge the entire show based on one week? It'll obviously take time for things to unfold. From a creative point, i get why they'd show all the negatives first so viewers can have sympathy for the leads but everything will slowly unfold over time. And we'll see all the different layers of the characters and how they'll overcome things.

I have too watched many EK shows, and this by far is the most different (also for Star Plus - its mainly Sony TV that experiment with their shows). I only realised the 4th episode in that this is an EK show and was shocked, because it really doesnt feel like it. They dont even have a vamp per se, or any saas-bahu crap.

But i'd suggest giving it time. One thing i do believe is eventually all EK shows get ruined, i hope Dhai Kilo Prem stays true to its uniqueness and they don't end up ruining it. I'd rather watch this over other current EK show any day.

Buddy, there are all sorts of people who make up this world. Discrimination they face due to the result of factors like obesity, short stature, color, etc is also very real and not new. So if the show is being realistic and showing certain realistic situations such people come across, I find nothing wrong in that. What could be new, novel and unique is the way the unconventional leads break these stereotypes and beauty myths. But to find out if the show is doing justice to that aspect or not, you might have to wait and watch the show for some more time and not jump to immediate conclusions. I have watched a few episodes of the show and found this by far the most unique and promising show I have seen among Ekta Kapoor soaps in recent times. It better not to look too far into the future as far as soaps go. The going is good as of now and that is all that matters for me.

This is Sandiip Sickand's show! Not Ekta's! Such a shame, the audience doesn't even know him! 😲 🤣

Isn't Sandip director of this show and EK is ofc producer of this show, isn't this show Balaji's!!
