Ranveer's first crush/love?

do you think this girl could return in future storyline and play some important role.? or is her existence merely to make ranveer's character slightly realistic in that typically nowadays it is normal for people to have relationships in college.

or do you think ranveer was lying to see if suman has a reaction to his past? as he did instantly ask are you jealous.?

I do think he was telling the truth as he did say it's his past and doesn't hold any significance in his life now or later.

Anyway, I feel that revelation served a few purposes:

1. Made Ranveer and Sumans interactions before their marriage more realistic. Since everything is normal according to Ranveer and he doesn't know that Suman is doing this shaadi out of majboori and little else (so far)- he wants to have a proper conversation regarding his past with her. Most fiances these days have this conversation about their past, to come clean in front of their future partners.

2. Gave Ran an opportunity to slightly tease Su with his " Are you jealous? " bit...😆 Again, very normal for people to feel jealous about past relationships.

3. Gave the creatives a leeway to explore this angle in the future. We all know how Indian shows need the presence of a constant villain to trouble the lead pair. This opens up doors for the creatives to explore just that. And for Sindoora to have a potential ally in the future.

It surely can be an angle to explore in future storylines since I do think if they do consider an triangle it should not involve ravi's return... that'll be a typical ekta kapoor track and I really don't want that. nivedita worked for balaji but her shows are very different from the typical balaji shows... bringing back dead husband is so balaji... since this is house of originals production let's hope they do explore something original.

it'll be interesting to see what her reaction is... she didn't seem bothered now quite clearly as she's not in love with him... so for her it's like listening to some random person discuss their ex and one is hardly going to be affected by it. however It'll be interesting to see if this feeling changes once she's fallen for him? having said that I've never really had suman down as one of those jealous type of people... so if we do see her change after marriage it might be cute seeing her become slightly possessive about ranveer and maybe jealous too and if the writers do make her quite possessive about ranveer they will need to handle this change with care and make it look a quite natural feeling in suman. I hate it when you can't relate to a character's feelings/reactions after dramatic unexplained developments occur in their characters/personalities.
