CHAPTER-2
Dev walked up and down their room, his and hers... His mind was highly disturbed... Sonakshi had refused coming back with him, and he could do nothing to stop her... He had tried stopping her in Ishwari Niwas only... But that went unnoticed, and now she firmly believes that he had wanted her to leave his house... How did he enter in this holy mess? How could he had been able to make Sonakshi believe that he could even imagine a life without her? How did he allowed himself to utter such words that could make her mistrust him? How things deteriorated to this level?
Tired of pacing up and down, he sat on the bed... Looking up to her side of the bed, her pillow was in place, her earrings on the side table, her side of the bed neatly made... He touched her pillow, he picked it up and cuddled his cheek on the softness... Imagining her presence... His eyes closed with a sense of her feels, opened with a certain restlessness...
He walked up and down the room yet again-How must she be feeling? Did she feel dizzy yet again? Did she eat something? What if she is keeping hungry in anger? How must the baby be? Sonakshi should not be taking any stress... Dev was feeling very worried for Sonakshi and the baby...
He pulled a chair from his writing table and sat down dejected. "I know Sonakshi, I have hurt you immensely by saying all those hurtful words... I am that way only... Impulsive, emotional... You know all that na... Who better than you know this... But I never ever intend to push you away from me... I can't imagine a life without you Sonakshi... I love you dearly... I had tried stopping you... But I couldn't reach in time... I am sorry!" Dev hung his head, and rested it on the table... A lone tear flowed out of his eye, dropping on the table... His face reddening with that sudden emotion of sadness... A dam broke, with many more tears flowing out...
Wiping his tears, he stood up from the chair, with a sense of determination... "I won't leave Sonakshi, I won't let her leave me either... You don't need any more stress Sonakshi, and I won't let you take it... I will set things right... I promise!"
