Of course it has to reopen.
No innocent should get punished and no guilty should be spared.
Truth must come out

I have voted NO because Maya's ensorcelled me and I've now become as wicked as her 😆 Jokes aside, I voted NO just coz I'm too engrossed in the show and I can't bear to see the protagonist lose 😆 It's no way against Ayaan coz even if his conduct was highly inappropriate, poor boy was tricked ! He was accused of something he didn't do at the end. And we didn't get to hear him properly explaining the situation. The issue is just his mother. By no means I'd be able to see her bragging out about Ayaan's getting bailed out !

In my view, the court scenes were a travesty. No cross-examining. The judge sits like a robot. The prosecutor is just sitting comfortably and the defense attorney going on and on and on.

I want this case to reopen because truth should reign. But I want it open, only if they can pen down the courtroom scene well. Let them show what exactly happened without leaving it upon us to draw inferences. Or else, it not worth my time.

So I voted, not sure.

In retrospect I think the courtroom scenes were written like that deliberately so as to let Maya win. The fact that the opening statement was given by the defendant and not the plaintiff in itself proves that this was all a sham by the Cvs to drag this nonsensical trial. If the prosecutor had opened the case ( as the protocol dictates) and presented the court with the DNA evidence from the bite marks, it proves beyond reasonable doubt that Ayaan had the intention to rape. If Maya could tamper with evidences to such an extent the medical reports could be doctored, and break the cameras to frame Ayaan, it's so obvious that she'd go on to win the case. A more experienced defendant lawyer may have reduced the sentence, but if the judge herself is shown to be taken in by emotional dramatics rather than adjourning the judgement and probing in for more details, then I can only conclude that this was how the CVs wanted shit to go down, how much ever illogical the drama looked like.

Yes, the trial was far too rushed. It did not seem like a fair trial.
