Aanand L Rai had reportedly pulled the ultimate casting coup by signing on Katrina and Deepika for his next starring Shah Rukh Khan. But now a new name Anushka is in contention too

Ranbir Kapoor's exes Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have a famously frosty equation So when reports recently claimed that the two Bollywood beauties will work together in Aanand L Rai's next starring Shah Rukh Khan, everyone sat up and took notice.

But SpotboyE.com can tell you that the situation is not as sorted as it seems.

Deepika was reportedly the first one to be finalised for the film which will see SRK playing a dwarf. Then they started the hunt for the other female lead. Katrina was sent the script and she took a long time to say yes.

But SpotboyE.com can tell you that when Katrina finally said yes a few days ago, she made it clear that she is still not comfortable with the idea of working with Deepika.

It is common knowledge that Ranbir Kapoor is the reason why these two ladies can't stand each other.

Now, Rai is in a sticky spot. Both roles are tailor made for Deepika and Katrina.

The only name that has crossed Rai's mind for a replacement for Deepika Padukone, we hear, is Anushka Sharma.

Aanand L Rai has been setting up the stage of his biggest project till date for more than a year now and had started the recce in London. "Film with Khan saab is my most ambitious project because he is the main casting of the film. I don't think there is anyone who can play the character better than him. I am fortunate I got Shah Rukh Khan for this film," the director had said.

But turns out that casting the two leading ladies is a more difficult task that roping in SRK. Who knew!
