Is Teni marriage track really needed

It looks good for fun and entertainment but I doubt it is going to lead anywhere.. If it is not going to add any value to the story then better they finish it off soon and move ahead!!

I want to see some progress in the story. It has become stagnant ever since Teni settled in Bhanushali house after some initial hiccups. All we are seeing post that is same repeated kitchen politics of Poyni and Sejal against Teni, and Parth-Shorvori-Teni facing a new problem everyday because of that.

I want to see some interactions among the trio related to the baby.. Why none of them is thinking about how they are going to deal with Teni's pregnancy? How come they didn't need to go to hospital even once for checkup after the insemination was done? Not sure if there are any problems related to artificial insemination compared to natural one.. 😕 But why can't they show PaRi-Teni tackling with such real life issues.. Have the makers forgotten about surrogacy/pregnancy??

With Parth, Shorvori and Teni at home all the time, the show has become so monotonous Earlier there used to be small and endearing scenes of the leads like the one in which Shorvori and Teni went on a golgappa date.. Such scenes would be such a welcome change than seeing the same annoying Bhanushali family members every day !!

I feel the show is going off track lately.. Better the makers bring it back to track soon.

Parth and Shorvori who are they? Are they leads of this show? I dont think so. If they are the leads then the makers should show one track of them properly. They always rush their tracks and also edited out their scenes from the first episode onwards. Now adays they have only one job standing and watching the whole drama.

This marriage track not going to add anything to the story. They can show many other tracks related to the problems that faces during the surrogacy. I read in an article that the surrogate mother is more susceptible to develop infections when other woman eggs are transplanted into her and miscarriage is very common in surrogate pregnancy.

About Pregnancy/Surrogacy it's better we forget till the date of reminiscing of Makers.😆

Seriously it became Fashion in every show.

And about the ongoing tracks i also think this track don't add any values in the show.

There scenes or tracks should be evolved either Surrogacy Pregnancy related or Teni's change in behaviour.

1st option is surely dismissed here and the 2nd option...Hmmm let's see.

As for the theme may be except Romantic scenes there are no such situations are creating between PARI;That's why no scenes.

If the trio lead is shifted from the Bhanushali House then lots of scenes are bound to be happened.

@bold, Very very valid point Pooja! Seems the makers have forgotten what their story is about. It sometimes makes me wonder if they are actually trying to sell a common triangle as dilchasp rishta under the label of surrogacy.

Its not just Parth and Shorvori, but even Teni's story is going nowhere. I had expected a really complex and interesting character graph for Teni (based on the movie). I know its too early to comment on this, but I don't see any progress in Teni's story/character so far. Its just that she moved from the chawl to Bhanushali house, rest nothing has changed for her.

Parth, Shorvori and Teni, as of now, seem to be living inside a bubble, and I could not feel anything for any of them in yesterday's episode.. Their miseries and problems seem to be forcefully created instead of logical and realistic ones.

Sometimes they show her as a matured person and then the very next scene project her as childish. @Aditi they showed many good scenes before the surrogacy like playing with the dolls(that was very good scene),then the hospital scene where Shorvori talking about her insecurities to parth etc. But the problem is after the insemination became success they not showing the feelings of would be parents.

Absolutely agree on every word that you wrote!! There used to be so many meaningful scenes earlier.. Even that scene where Shorvori fakes a grown tummy, she and Parth share a lovely conversation and then immediately Parth goes to meet Teni and Teni does similar thing but in a contrasting way. The difference between thought process of both the women was shown in such a beautiful way.. Are we really watching the same show now??

Just saw a photo in insta Shorvori in Teni s outfit. Lets hope that is not for another Tom and Jerry story

The makers barring a few episodes, have made a bushel loads of mistakes in editing and storyline of the show. PaRi rightly are projected as Teni's support system. But here the makers failed to insert tracks depicting their personal life and the changes they forsee with the arrival of the new born.

Telly soaps are failing to retain viewers attention for long. The assimilation of family tracks supported with domestic diplomacy and conniving members, big fat ceremonies combined together drapes the show in an obsolete manner, thus fading its lustre.

Teni's engagement function apparently is a filler incorporated with the intention to increase the length of the show. If the makers are serious in elevating the status of Teni, they could have introduced a meaningful track in this regard, interweaving with surrogacy and of course PaRi. Such tracks could have managed to deliver some really absorbing episodes, leaving viewers speculating over future developments.

@Rashmi, I also am of the view that the show seems to have lost its direction. Hoping this to be a temporary phenomenon. Soon we might get to see some meaningful tracks with PaRi in the pivotal role.

@Sheena, thanks for putting forward your views in right words. Agree with most of them!!

Since you mentioned about elevating Teni's status, made me think how many meaningful tracks can be shown in this regard.. Teni isn't someone educated, but she dreams big of making an identity for herself, going to America, living an independent and fulfilling life.. They can show her getting educated, learning sophisticated mannerisms which will help her survive in the place where she wants to go.. Why can't CVs think of such tracks instead of this useless marriage drama..

Good to read this...everyone has pretty much written what i felt about the current travks of the show
Parth and shorvari are standing like dolls witnessing some
Lame drama happening in the name of Teni's marriage
I still dont get how they are going to hide teni's pregnancy if they are planning to retain Teni in the Bhanusali house...
In this entire wedding drama and family drama..parth and shorvari are completely neglected..which is one reason i am finding the show getting boring
What happened to those scene like the baby talks..dreaming about their child together etc etc...

As much as i agree about all the things people here are writing about surrogacy...there is one thing..neither the makers nor the actors have ever said that show to be based on surrogacy...they have always said that its about complicated relationship...so again..surrogacy takes a back seat...
Watever they wanted to show..be it surrogacy or the complicated relationship stuff..either ways they have lost track...i am not liking the fact that Parth and Shorvari are being sidelined so much for some stupid family drama 🥱
