Someone had posted on twitter that everyone will think Shivaay is dead but in actuality Mahi will be dead.
Kamini's plan is simple- kill Shivaay and let Maahi take his place
So when Anika will perform the Oye Oye dance, Shivaay will know that there is some kinda danger. I think Khanna might escape as well. And I believe that he will in turn impersonate Maahi and someone else will kill Maahi thinking him to be Shivaay.
Shivaay will bide his time till Kamini and Ranveer come to him and then it will be revealed that it was Mahi who died.
P.S: Sad.. I liked Mahi but yea not as the one who was in Shivaays shoes.
P.P.S Ranveer knocked Khanna off and locked him in a room. There is a possibility that Shivaay is jailed post Mahi murder

So reading all the posts, I have a feeling this is what will happen..
I think when Ranveer first mistook Shivaay for Mahi, Shivaay had a doubt on Ranveer. And in the khanna scene it became clearer
Now, Shivaay has a tracker in Mahi's coat
He will either grab the hint from Anika but the person shown will be Mahi.
He will track where Mahi is going but kidnap him in turn and blackmail him into playing the game in the way he wants it to. He will threaten death sentence for his mom probably😆😆
He will impersonate Mahi and go to Kamini and Ranveer., take the gun from them and agree to kill Shivaay. He will change the gun and the bullets will be fake and he will shoot Mahi who will be forced to play dead.
He will tell Kamini that he will dispose the body, still acting as Mahi
Kamini will break off the wedding, hoping that Mahi will send her the jewellry soon.
The moment she does that Shivaay will reveal that this was a part of his plan.. He will bring Mahi out and expose them all.
