As far as I understand, there is a majority of politicians who are above the 45 years age bracket. A person above 45 year of age is a person of experience and knowledge. These are people who have actually seen all the ups and downs in the society, with relative understanding of many social issues and stigma.
One contention for this age limit maybe, that the winner is supposed to start a political career. Also, the fund offered to the winner is supposed to be used in a public welfare program and is supposed to kick start the person's political career. Now for a public welfare program how does the age factor help?
The important point for the winner or a leader is to make an impact on the people. In such case the age of the person will hardly influence the impression created on the public. What is your say on this?
