Since the marriage and infertility track started, I had been saying that a woman can fight the world if her husband stands by her.

Someone shared this article with me. I thought I'd share the story of a real life Sona and real life Ishwari without real life Dev.

Don't worry. This story has a happy ending and there is only one reason for that. Read to find out who is the reason for this Sona getting a happy ending.

This is outstanding! 👏 I am so so glad that this girl was able to rise above all of those taunts, pressure and humiliation towards herself and her family. She has not only become a better person she has risen in the eyes of her lovely husband and become the accomplished daughter in front of her parents.

I would like to share this quote which relates to this couple's life...

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength while loving someone deeply gives you courage"

Thank you for sharing this ever inspiring letter. Lets hope that our Sonakshi can overcome all of this and become the real winner once again. 😳

Very well said. 👏

That girl would have been broken if her husband turned against her and started to put pressure on her like Dev did.

The reason she got the strength to fight is because her husband stood by her not because he loved her more than his mother or vice versa, but because she was right and his mother was wrong.

And that's exactly what Dev didn't do. But come to think of it, if a husband can't even stand by his wife, then why bother getting married? I mean you want your wife to stand by you throw thick and thin and you can't even stand for her honour against your own family. Then why did you even marry? Just to have legal you-know-what?

Beautiful confession. Thanks for sharing it Tia 😛

Yes, after the girl gets married, the new house is made truly into "her home" by the support from her husband. No girl can go and answer back her in-laws even though they might be terribly wrong from day 1 and she might be the educated capable one. Vicky made it clear to his mother on day-1 of his marriage and see even today Radha cannot disrespect Elena. However, for Dev he didn't care for Sonakshi's respect and his silence on everyday matters just made everyone sure of it. His meek protest against his sister and mami were good for nothing or else they wouldn't have dared repeat the same thing again with Sonakshi.

Unfortunately even now, Dev does not respect Sonakshi neither as someone he once loved nor as the mother of his child. He might get insecure when he sees her smiling with someone else, but that's certainly not love. It's just that feeling of something belonged to you once, which is no more yours.

Love without respect is no good. Dev has, does and will always respect only one person in his life "Ishwari". For him his mother can disrespect anyone to any level but no one can say a word of truth against his mother.

Wonderful
Difference is that husband of this girl was super supportive, and Dev was always a spineless jerk.

Dev wanted sonakshi to keep her promise.. never leave him no matter what! But he didnt keep one promise of standing by her while she fought single handedly with evil Dixits

Exactly Mena. And you know what is the biggest irony? He expected her to stand by him even though he never stood by her. Talk about arrogance. It's like a guy keeps cutting his pet with a knife and when it dies of blood loss and/or infection, he is mad at it for not being a loyal pet. W*F...

Exactly. A husband's support goes a long way. If the husband doesn't stand by her, who will the wife fight for and why? When women have kids, sometimes they fight for them. But here that was also not the case then.
