I am not blaming Arjun at all. I don't see why he has to love Maya. He said he has been framed for domestic violence by Maya before, so obviously that would be in his mind. Also, I think he is a decent person and any decent person would prevent someone from committing suicide. That doesn't mean he loves her.

I never said what maya did was justified...i have mentioned her wrong doings in my post too...but pointing at other people's wrong doings doesnt make ur own doings any better...

as for arjun, he doesnt have to love maya, love doesnt have to be, it just happens...and no matter what he says, he did once love her and now more than being scared of jail, he was concerned and disturbed by his wife's condition...and for his brother too as he thought ayan would never do such thing

for arjun, the concern for his loved ones is more than fear of jail

Great post well balanced. I don't know why people think that no one blames Maya for her wrong doings? But that doesn't mean we pretend Ayaan is justified or trivialize his assault on Maya. Because he is not innocent.

I actually felt very bad for Arjun. He was clearly disturbed and when he said "Maya main itena ghira huwa nahi hu" I felt terrible for him. (When Maya asked him if he set Ayaan onto her to punish her). Arjun is not a bad guy, just obtuse, and once upon a time, he DID love Maya.

Maybe for the sake of that love his concern for her today was genuine. He is probably just as concerned for his Brother. But I think he himself was shocked by what he heard and he knows Ayaan has done something wrong. I know he would like to deny it, but even he is not sure after the things he heard. Arjun is a victim from both sides in this incident.

I disagree on one part, I found the actor playing Ayaan (sorry don't know his name), equally excellent, his change of expression from a helpless brother, to fiercely MCP was awesome ,

About the character, I really felt pity for Arjun, he was concerned that Maya could frame Ayan, but the moment he realized what was happening, he immediately thought of Maya, he really wants to love Maya (and probably once did), but the Maya in front of him is not worth loving, still he makes an effort to love her

Ayan, I still don't feel was sexually assaulting, but what he did was unpardonable as well, losing control and manhandling, calling police would have been a better option

Maya did worst thing till date by tying up the drugged husband, something which is not pardonable (I am not commenting on the murder thing, because wouldn't agree that she is the murderer till they show)

Saanjh and Vandana, I guess were normal as they must be, Saanjh being a lawyer was acting as one trying to get insights on what was the actual scene and Vandana being a mother was blindly trusting her son

Good analysis of all the characters!!

Ayaan was wrong in what he did; he didn't seem to mean or intend to rape but the way he assaulted Maya was indeed wrong. But Maya too was wrong in terms of what she did to Arjun. I liked that Saanjh was being neutral and asked Ayaan what exactly happened and what did he do. Poor Arjun is now stuck having to choose between Maya and Ayaan.

Whatever Ayan did to Maya there is no justification for that. Just because he can say what he want and use force against a women doesn't mean he should.
And no matter what maya did to Arjun she or no woman deserve this for that matter. Maya has wronged Arjun the most but even Arjun never behaved this way with maya.
And about Ayan's intention, if he was not trying to rape maya then what was he planning to achieve by tearing her cloths. Whatever between maya and arjun is there problem. They are still married and Ayan is no one to take decisions on Arjun's part to teach maya a lesson.
This is no way to behave with anyone specially a women. Just because maya physically can't overpower Ayan doesn't mean he can do or say anything he want. Only cowards and disgusting minded people like ayan can behave like this.
I don't give a damn how wrong maya was but she is his brother's wife and the way he behaved with her shows what kind of cheap and dirty mind he have being drunk here is only an excuse.
There are several people out there who use various reasons and excuses too abuse and molest women. Ayan's is no different then them.

After yesterday episode what I felt was do we need to relook at characters because Arjun for me was always egoist, Ayan emotional. Someone who values relations, cares for relations.

But yesterday episode made me think Arjun was showing off his masculinity as he believed if he doesnt show it off, then people wont consider him a man. If his soft side is exposed then he will be considered weak. If he doesnt show off his wife is under his control then he is weak. Yes he has an inflated ego and try to put blame on the women. But then there are times also where he genuinely showed concern. When Ayan was in jail, When he rescued Maya from the lift, when he beat up Ashwin and most importantly his reaction when Maya told him is this the punishment of loving you beyhadh. Your brother could keep hand on my honor. And even in semi sedated state he was telling No Ayan No when he heard those dialogues, trying to break those bondages Maya put him in. I dont know whether he still loves Maya, but he has concern for her. That was very much evident though situation might force him to chose Ayan this time as Maya is not a sacred victim.

But Ayan was the sweet bubbly face a facade. He went so cold with Maya. No what he did to Maya and those dialogues he spoke doesnt come in one day. It is ingrained in him. Simi says Ayan doesnt look at other women. Really he was a Casanova but for all practical purposes Arjun is a single woman man. yes he had not had any relation with any other woman, except his skirmishes with Saanjh which are also out in the open.
What is this guy. Was he completely innocent in the old drug peddaling case Maya rescued him from. I had told that day also Maya shouldnt have told Ayan whether he is right or wrong. He was Arjun's brother and that was enough reason for her to save him to impress Arjun and beat Saanjh. Who did she save that day. Why Ayan didnt wanted Saanjh to go to Singapore. As we see it is he who had nudged Shubham and Shubham sent the sms post which Arjun came to meet Saanjh. Third question why Ayan didnt wanted Arjun to speak to Saanjh on his wedding day because if Arjun had spoken to Saanjh she would have been part of the barat. I had always felt if Saanjh was there when Vandana came marching in to take Arjun from the mandap she would have handled Vandana and the havoc of Arya wedding would have been avoided. Saanjh came late after all the mess. Point number four why Ayan called Arjun when VM was insulting Maya. Yes it looked a regular call, but now thinking back it looks fishy. Because Ayan knew Arjun would blow up. It might have been innocent. But it is said if too many points look out of place then it is not coincidence.
