Ranveer on the Padmavati controversy: We have left the negative events

We know that team Padmavati has not got
off to a great start. The film set has been
attacked twice over the Rani Padmavati -
Alauddin Khilji controversy. However, team
Padmavati made it clear that there will be
absolutely no scenes between Deepika
Padukone aka Rani Padmavati and her
alleged boyfriend Ranveer Singh aka
Alauddin, in the movie as opposed to the
rumours.
Though the cast and crew have otherwise
been low key about the movie shoot,
Ranveer himself opened about the movie
shoot and their progress to a leading daily
recently.
Ranveer said, "I have expressed my views on
Twitter, but I don't want to focus on
negatives. The incident sporadically had
things that went for a toss but we are very
strong and happy the way the film is
progressing. We have left the negative
events of that incident behind."
Recently, we read that Deepika had recently
been to Rajasthan to prep up for her role.
Also, the buzz is that Ranveer and Deepika
have been asked by their director not to
make public appearances together. Now,

Padmavati is directed by Sanjay Leela
Bhansali and produced by Bhansali and
Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Shahid Kapoor
plays Deepika's husband, Rawal Ratan Singh,
in the movie. It is expected to release on the
17th of November this year.
Shahid had spoken about his look in the
movie saying, "When you are playing a King,
you need to have a certain personality. At
that time, the people used to not be very
skinny and lean, so you need to have a
manly personality. Basically for that, and to
carry those outfits also, Sanjay sir wants me
to be a little muscular and a little full. But I
will be gaining weight in terms of muscle
and not in terms of fat. This is because I am
playing the character of a warrior. The
Rajput kings had very strong personalities."
