Arjun Bijlani is a popular TV actor who once made the transition to the big screen. However, he says he's focused on television now.

"I'm not meeting people to discuss films till I'm done with my current television show. Some films have come my way, but I'd rather rule television than take up something which will be insignificant to my career," said the actor, according to Hindustan Times.

Bijlani currently features in Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil'. He says he sometimes feels the story isn't quite right, "I perform the scene to the best of my capability. Sometimes I feel that the story could have been better and I give suggestions but I can't do anything about the broader storyline".

I agree,I want to watch this show because he acts and looks awesome...but I leave the episodes mid way because how much can I focus on one actor...the show should interest me too...why are they making such melodrama out of surrogacy?using it as a tool for the heroine to get insulted and shed tears over? it should be out in the open that it is surrogacy,everything scientific about it.

But as much as I have watched the show naina seems to make no efforts of trying to tell the truth(to raghav at least!)

Also(and I debated with myself if I should say this or not but well I AM going to say it) DD acts really bad in the so called comedy scenes...they are not good comedy scenes to begin with and she uhh...makes them worse.I think she is probably tired of the chatter box comedy she has had to do since dmg/geet...I kind of understand that...indian tv has only one kind of comedy for the female characters.

I like her emotional scenes,she is certainly better with those (she was amazing in madhubala,my favorite performance of hers...so subtle yet impactful emotional scenes there) .

Feeling very sorry for DD and AB. If he could actually say this, it means the leads must be feeling pretty low themselves, after all it is a matter of their credibility.

TFS & i agree with AB that story could hv been better but we are watching the show for Drashti & Arjun's fabulous performances the story was good in initial days & they brought some good twists & turns but cvs never use good twists & turns rushed things & waste there time on the one which isn't much needed i think cvs really need to work properly or they show bring new cvs for the show who can give us good execution bcoz it's lot's of problem with the execution...Arshti is doing there best as actors but scenes & story isn't in there hand they hv to perform what is given to them...

@jaijaiiranimata respect ur pov u can like an actress/actor & i can dislike them too it's ur pov but i think DD is so good in both emotional & comedy scenes she is a all rounder, versatile actress in all her show there were all kind of scenes always

& her characters had lots of shades always... there were emotional & comedy ,romantic ,action , intense & even grey shades she has done fabulously in all of them

maybe u hv seen her comedy scenes a lot in DMG Geet & now Pardes yes there was a lot of comedy scene of her in DMG but in Geet ,MB & Pardes comedy is one of the shades of her character...specially in Geet & Pardes

if you watch initial episodes of pardes in Austria scenes there was comedy scenes too which was really fabulous & was situational comedy & DD was so rocking in them too

but now cvs are doing loud comedy scenes intentionally & they are showing Raina behaving like teenagers in comedy scenes so both DD & AB hv to act according to the scenes & like teenagers na besides the show has lot's of execution problem one side they show Naina so emotional & in next scene they show her in comedy scene so maybe u can't connect with it...& same goes with Raghav character

anyways it's not the 1st time that DD is doing comedy since romance ,comedy & emotinal scenes are one of the things she is very famous for bcoz she has done fabulous comedy scenes before too & even now she is doing it fabulously maybe u hv got tired of seeing her comedy scenes since she has done lots of shows & Geet had a comedy track too & in DMG her character had lots of Comedy scenes now in Pardes in this track they are showing lots of comedy so i think u feel so bcoz of that

& i agree with u that indian tv has only one kind of comedy for the female characters

anyway if u think DD isn't good in comedy scenes or she isn't doing good comedy scenes in pardes it's ur pov we are different ppl with differnt thinking 😊

Lol i expected this one..When leads themselves are finding that the story is going haywire, then what do you expect audience to do?😆

And, looks like some people want to take the advantage of the situation of the forum😆.Few loubers can't restrain from taking digs against the actress..They always claim to "hate" the actress, but still have the patience to sit and see all her shows just to not miss any chance to talk about her acting capabilities😆..

Well, to each his own, i still find Drashti a better actress compared to her competitiors and i believe she is much better than the ones who always give "asthma attack" vibes during romantic scenes and pops out the eyes and starts jumping at the drop of a hat in the name of comic scenes😆

Its not like top trp shows hv award winning actors giving award winning performances either .. no offense to any show in particular .. but actors or their acting dont really bring trps or else shows like POW or Beyhad would b topping the charts ..

Its the connect which trp viewers should feel with the story or the characters which brings trps ..

AB and DD r amazing actors with terrific screen presense .. its the story which lacks connection with the trp viewers ..

U dont need a fab story either for trps but a story should b able to connect the viewers .. in this case I never felt the connection with this surrogacy track .. so thats the main problem ...

Actors r doing fine job and giving their 100 percent ..

Both AB and DD are doing an amazing job as actors. But CVs need to make the story better! This track was dragged too much & it's obvious that the viewers lose their interest.
