Aamir Khan is reported to be keen on casting Alia Bhatt for his next film.

Aamir Khan announced his next film with director Vijay Krishna Aacharya last year.

Later it was confirmed that the makers even got megastar Amitabh Bachchan on board for the project. Also the film's production company, Yash Raj films had been searching for a suitable actress to play the leading lady in the film.

Earlier, there were reports that 'Befikre' actress Vaani Kapoor might be roped in for the role but it was Aamir who wasn't convinced with the idea.

As per fresh reports, instead of Vaani, Aamir suggested Alia Bhatt's name to Aditya Chopra (Chairman-Yash Raj Films).

A report in a popular tabloid has quoted a source informing, "Aamir is keen on casting Alia as he considers her to be far more established actress in the current lot, but nothing has been finalized yet". (sic)

Aamir and Vijay had worked together in 'Dhoom 3'. The film marks Big B and Aamir's first film together. Well, this collaboration between the duo has raised the expectation bars among the fans and followers.

The movie will be releasing in Diwali, 2018.

is it a role role or 10 min of naach gana and then disappearing till the other song like katrina in dhoom 3..

if latter..i would say shradha is a much better fit..but if it has little bit of act like kareena in talaash..i would say..go for it

^^ Yeah the leading lady will be Aamir's love interest and Alia looks way too young to romance Aamir 😲 Hope this is just Alia's PR at work and the makers aren't seriously considering them as a couple.

Aamir picks his heroines who have solid fanbase. When BV was offered to Aamir he asked Kashyap to cast a top heroine hence Kashyap approached Katty. During Dangal promos, he said he chose Sakshi because Sakshi is very very popular among TV watching audience (These people usually watch Khan movies in theaters, but adding Sakshi helped him attract the amma-jis, sasumas, uncle-jis to go watch the movie).

So, he'd pick Aloo over Vaani and Shraddha... or Shraddha over Vani... or Disha Patani over Vaani... or Jacqui over Vaani.

How come nobody on this forum is calling him names like they did for SRK?

When DZ was announced with SRK and Alia people here were calling SRK horrible names although it clearly stated there wont be any romantic angle

Now Aamir himself wants Alia to be his heroine and nobody is disgusted with that?

Alia is 24 but she looks like she's 10 years old. That's a problem. Cast someone who looks older but young
