Confirmed: Barun Sobti NOT a part of Ishqbaaz
Reports of Barun Sobti making his comeback with Ishqbaaz are false, says producer Gul Khan.

Ever since the news of Barun Sobti's Telly return has hit the web, his fans have gone berserk with many busy speculating the show he might return with.
Reports even suggested that the actor might make his small screen comeback with Ishqbaaz wherein he will be seen doing a cameo. The show is also part of Gul Khan's production banner 4 Lions Films, which also produced Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. Gul Khan had even teased Barun's fans by posting a small teaser of him jumping off a jeep. The teaser introduced Barun's character's name as Advay Singh Raizada. However, nothing more was revealed, leaving space for rumours and speculations.
When we got in touch with Barun to know the truth, he said, "I have signed a non-disclosure agreement with the channel and cannot talk about anything." Well, this did hint at something.
Next, we got in touch with 4 Lions Films producer Gul Khan to know if reports of Barun doing a cameo in Ishqbaaz and essaying a relatively grey shade is true. "None of this is true," she said, adding that these are mere speculations and that too a wrong one.
Further, we asked her if Barun is definitely making a comeback under 4 Lions Films production banner to which she replied in positive, saying, Yes. However, she refused to reveal anything more on the project.
However, for now, we know that Barun is all set to make a comeback on Television with yet another show, which will be produced under the 4 Lions Films banner.
Barun was last seen in the web series Tanhaiyan opposite Surbhi Jyoti. The series was well received by the audience. Before that Barun had left the show IPKKND to pursue a better career in Bollywood.
