Today the cv's officially ended the triangle for good. Ravish and Vividha had closure.
The scene between Ravish, Vividha and Atharv depicted what an uncomfortable situation all three were in. As Ravish and Atharv crossed paths in the hall, they stopped and looked at each other, both understanding the difficulty of the situation they were all facing. ViTharv loved each other, Madhav was their child, but Ravish's presence in their life could not be ignored or brushed aside. Before either of the brothers could say anything to each other, Vivi came with Madhav who was refusing to sleep. Both 'fathers' held out their arms to take the little boy but both stopped, feeling awkward at the situation, and both pulled back not knowing what to do. Atharv in a bid to cover his embarrassment offered his room to the couple but Vividha and Ravish refused saying they would sleep in different rooms. As Atharv and Ravish walked off in opposite directions, Vivi could do nothing but look on.
Ravish and Vividh's scene was nicely done. There were no dramatics like last time, just a simple talk where things were acknowledged by both.
Despite the fact that Ravish has always loved Viviidha, he has always known in his heart that she could never love him. Like he told Vivi today, she and Atharv live in each others hearts. Even though for four years, Vivi professed to hate Atharv, she never stopped loving him. I liked the fact that Ravish told Vivi that she wasn't a thing that could be kept or given back. She had always been Atharv's amaanat, and she had always belonged to him.
Out of sheer gratitude, Vividha bent down to touch Ravish's feet. She didn't know any other way to thank him yet she understood that all this could not be easy for him. He loved both her and Madhav but for her happiness he was letting her go and she did not stop him, knowing that she could only love Atharv.
Guddi's truth was revealed to the rest of the family too today. Vivi explained that she had already suspected that Guddi was her sister but her suspicions were confirmed when she saved Atharv's life. Guddi was so ashamed of what she had done that she wanted to leave, but her mum, sister and Daadi would not let her go this time. She got forgiveness not only from them but from friend Atharv too. Thank goodness the writers are not going to create a different triangle here.
In the precap the Doctor tells the family that Atharv and Madhav's DNA don't match.
After so many days of drama, it was nice to watch an episode where everything was so calmly sorted out. We can finally look forward to the one thing we have been so desperately waiting for for seven months.
