NK had come up with another idiotic idea. And he hadn't just suggested' it this time, he had damn near forced Arnav to do as he said - by threatening him with exposure.
So this was it.
He was gonna ask Lola for a meeting.
Sitting in his study, Arnav contemplated the chances of him getting rejected. After that ice cream or chocolate' message, Lola had disappeared. His numerous replies to her had gone unseen. What were the odds of him even reading his request for a meet-up?
And what WAS he meeting her for? Were they gonna take their affair' to the next level? No... he couldn't! He couldn't cheat on Khushi like that.
Definitely not.
And NK didn't scare him. But him telling his wife about Lola did...
Arnav sighed heavily. No harm in trying. Besides, all he wanted to meet her for was... to find out what she looked like, yes.
Lola? He typed slowly.
Unseen.
Are you okay?
Unseen.

Do you think we should meet up?
Seen.
Arnav's heart skipped a beat.
For the longest moment - in which he barely breathed - Lola didn't type anything. And then, just as he was about to give up all hopes of a reply, she sent him a single word.
Yes.
Arnav's hands started trembling. This was a bad decision. And he regretted saying anything already. He shouldn't be doing this. AT ALL.
But somewhere deep inside, he was already anxious to finally have a face to put to her name. And he loathed himself for it.
They'd discussed the specifics of their meeting soon after and Khushi couldn't help having a really bad feeling about all of it. But she had to. She had no choice.
Anjali was practically threatening her into this. According to her, Khushi needed to confess to her Salman Khan that she was married. Face to face.
Khushi had never been so confused in her life. Wouldn't it be better to do this over Tinder itself? Why must they meet for the first time just to break off their relationship'?
She'd asked Anjali that much. But Anjali hadn't given her any reason. Only coolly demanded to do as she said. And punctuated her demand with a threat of exposure.
Khushi couldn't let Arnav know. She was guilty enough anyway. She didn't want him to hate her like that.
And so she had agreed with Anjali. She would meet Kinky. And say goodbye to him forever.
In the meantime, it couldn't hurt to wear that sexy black saree of hers, could it? It WAS Kinky after all. What if he turned out to look really good? Just like her real Salman Khan...
How could she still be THINKING all of this? She berated herself.
Khushi wailed again at her own double standards, blowing her nose on the last tissue of the box.
