Ufff! Such a magical phrase! It transports you to the moon and the stars and back. It takes you to a place where the entire universe and celestial elements have joined forces to conspire against you- where the unreal transcends the real. Where normal and ordinary become surreal. Uff! Such an extraordinary feeling to step into this enchanting world of Serendipity.

And in the grip of such an event of serendipity, when you meet someone and you cannot quite put your finger on why you are drawn to them, your instinct demands that you do everything in your power to hold on to that person and explore the attraction. And that's what Kabir Miranda does. He plays a prank on Myra to ensure that she walks in to his life, without making a big fuss about it. He does not know why or what he feels, but he knows that there is a certain something that cannot remain unexplored.

Kabir Miranda - not Kabir Khanna or Kabir Malhotra. Not that there is something wrong with any of those names, but how many Khanna's and Malhotras have we seen on Indian TV? We have never really seen a Kabir Miranda. And an international journalist!!!! not a big businessman with daddy's riches to his name. How intelligent and how different!

I am so looking forward to this story. The ease in story telling, the uncomplicated plot, and the wonderfully flawed and endearing characters all make the package so interesting. I loved Kabir in the episode today. Liquid Chocolate! Imagine the worlds he may have explored and each of those diverse worlds make him more interesting and add a shade to his persona- adding a hint of seriousness and a whole lot of humour- I love his tongue in cheek dialogues. I'm beginning to gush now and I am disused to doing so!

I actually wanted to make a post on this! So glad you did :)

Can I just say that I love how uncomplicated yet complex Kabir is? I love how he was able to put a word to his feelings in the name of serendipity (BTW I love that he used that word..we hardly hear MLs utter anything other than love or hate for the FL😆) but yet maintain that ambiguity & that desire to just want to explore more. It's not love yet, but something unexplainable's there. And he doesn't complicate it further by trying to term it or have an answer straight away. He doesn't get worked up either (as opposed to Myra) & instead decides to just explore. Explore more about this woman called Myra Kohli & explore more about what made it tick for him. He's having fun in this process, but at the same time, one can see that he's serious about such stuff. He's serious but again, doesn't get pushy about it. I appreciate his frankness in the way he told her that this time it was no coincidence & that he followed her, i.e. he's taking that step towards her. He really knows how to handle & approach a woman with baby steps. Not to mention, the way he is able to deal with Myra so calmly. 😳I love this guy. Its only the first week, I know. But I really love him already.

I love the other characters as well. They're so flawed, so real & so much fun at the same time. I feel bad for Nikhil BTW.. Rhea has no idea what she's lost. I hope they explore her character more because I really want to try to understand her psychology & what resulted in her being committment phobic. I hope its not just brushed aside as her childishness or her selfishness. There appears to be more than what meets the eye with regards to the Kohlis'. All in all, we're on a great start & I have hopes that this finite series won't disappoint.😃

Sam, I think Rhea is too self absorbed right now to look at anything that stands in front of here. I think they have scripted her character as one that seems shallow, but possibly has a greater depth that nobody knows about. She has to go through heart break of some sort to realise the hurt and the unpleasant winds that she blows into the lives of those around her. And I think that will happen.

I think not having a father around and being in a dysfunctional family has not helped her attitude. It is possibly a defence mechanism.

@bold : I also think that there is greater depth to her character. She constantly speaks of fun & runs from everything that doesn't interest her & tries to find an easier route that will keep her away from the mess. But at the same time, she did question Abha as to why she got married. So I don't think that its just childishness. Rhea seems to be lacking a drive/motivation in life which definitely hints towards something psychological which causes her to completely block out anything that would require serious involvement & subsequent disappointment. I think the loss of her father affected her the most & in ways she herself might not be aware of. She's also the middle child so its possible that she felt the void the most because Myra was probably too young & Abha mature enough to handle it while Mummy Kohli was in her own world & drowned in her own sorrows.

🤗Hello there Poppy. It really is a first. But I guess I am fan girling the story and the character sketches. You havent missed much at all since it started only on Monday but you will find that most of the online videos have been removed.

I'll send you a link with the written updates via PM.

Amazing post, I have read this earlier but I am replying it today. How it strikes Myra that encounters with Kabir are of serendipity. Amazing precap, a heart to heart conversation.
