A classic example that starring in ATBBs with Khans don't help you in your own movies that are riding on your shoulders and have to be at the mercy of WOM.

Where are the legions of Khan fans who couldn't even give dear Anu a good opening as a token of gratitude for being a Khan leading lady??? 😭

Form what I read, Phillauri was made in 21 crores. It got 12 crores from satellite and music rights, and so needed 9 crores to break even. It has made 17 crores and counting. So it has already made a profit. It is not fair to compare absolute numbers. As a project, Phillauri is successful while BV was not, even though I actually liked both films.
