Here is the first look of Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwars new show that's called Kar Le Tu Bhi Mohabbat.' The show will be streamed on Ekta Kapoors new digital platform, ALT Balaji. This is a new web series that will be bold in its approach. Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar have entertained audience in Bade Acche Lagte Hai as Ram and Priya. This time, though, it would be a funny romantic love story with adult humour injected for good measure. Once again Ekta is going the K' way for the name of her shows perhaps in hopes of extending luck to the new platform as well.

Ram Kapoor is known for his comic timing and the character is quite close to his real self. After the grand success of her maiden film, Dangal, Sakshi Tanwar will be seen playing a bubbly role that she has never played before. In the show, she plays a doctor who is treating Ram. Unlike the usual TV shows, this show will have a healthy mix of Hindi and English dialogue with lots of cuss words thrown in. Since the show will stream on a digital platform, the makers would have creative liberty to experiment.

ALT Balaji has couple of other web series coming up and one of them is Samir Soni-starrer Once Upon A Night. The show also stars Dipanita Sharma and Aditi Vasudev. It's a story of a one night stand of a married man and how it lands him in trouble .

The other web series is the story of a gay couple. It is called Romit And Jugal. It has been directed by Nupur Asthana. It stars newcomer Manraj Singh and Rajeev Siddharth as a gay couple.

Among the other shows is a feminist adaptation of Devdas called Dev DD by Ken Ghosh. The poster of the show features the lead actress in a drunk avatar.

Then there is a boys' comedy called Boygiri and the Nimrat Kaur-Juhi Chawla starrer The Test Case to be directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.

Thanks for sharing. They all look interesting to me.
Web series are the next boom, they are better than TV shows.

I am surprised to see Nimrat Kaur doing a webseries. Isn't she getting any movie offers?
I am keen to watch Romit & Jugal. I haven't seen any Indian series on gay couple. It will be new for me to watch.

I hope it isnt treated awfully tho chock full of stereotypes and charicatures as we have seen in the recent past.

I think there was one show 'Maryada Lekin Kab Tak' that had a gay couple (as side characters).

I don't trust Kekta but I'm intrigued.

@bold Ya right, that was one bold show.

I read Ekta saying that due to the race of TRPs she gets restricted with the story lines. Let's see with no question of TRPs here how much she justifies the theme.
