I hope God does not take the statement literally because realization of true love should not make u a failure in your work life!
I mean that is too melodramatic. One of the main attractiveness of this part is that he is a self made successful man, so if love makes him unsuccessful even temporarily then what is the point of love!Maybe his drive will become less and he might transfer "White Chilies" to Mehek's name but please i do not want to see him face failure!He was a successful businessman prior to meeting Mehek, why take that away from him.

If he lost everything for love...It wont create any magic at all...Even I dont like tragic love stories despite the length the lovers go for their love...
I want him to experience the pain of the love but not at the cost of his career...
