I would list down some practical aspects which still hold true in today's indian society..
1. Caste system is not much evident in cities.. Cities are places where reservation has already reached and made an influence.
2. Caste system is still evident in the rural parts of the country.. People not much aware of reservation and other beneficial policies..
3. Economically better off people from the reserved category are mostly(not only) taking advantages of reservation in education and jobs.
4. Economically poor people from general category have no hope in a reservation based society.
5.People killing each other to enter the reserved category domain.
6. Misuse of reserved category tag by giving it for communities which once upon a time ruled india or which are better off economically..
7. No accountability of the reservation policies, reserved category groups have only increased, none excluded after inclusion.
8. States having upto whopping 70% of reservation and the general category population diminishing in an alarming rate from such states.
9. Majority of reserved category people have still not got the benefits of reservation.
10.Reservation seems to be a birthright and not a tool for betterment of life for majority of reserved category people..
You may add on some more points. And tell us what do you think about this policy...
