JNDSD~ My take~ Monday 27.3.17~ taken for a ride..
To take someone for a ride is to cheat, deceive, swindle, to transport someone one and kill them. Within the storyline, the main suspected female antagonist is Suman. She rides on a destructive tsunami wave of revenge hell bent on reeking hell in the lives of those she sees as having wronged her. Leading up to the new moon night all bodes well for her. But today's episode gives me the impression that Suman much against her expectation will find scales falling off her eyes.
They say a murderer returns to the crime scene to erase traces of the crime.Heaven alone knows how many times Suman must have revisited the balcony area? After three decades it stands as a grim reminder her act of pushing Kajri over to her death , for daring to tell her the truth. The truth that Sujata usurped Ramakant's love from her. Reduced her to nothing more than being a wife.. the title that Sujata was devoid of. The truth is Suman, couldn't swallow playing wife without Ramakant's complete love. His love had to be shared with Sujata! Kajri told her so point blank! and she was pushed to her end! But although Suman silenced Kajri's wagging tongue. She got her payback.. a curse that blighted her and her son's life! But times change and her good time is about to start shortly.. ahhh! the sweet, sweet, state of success..
They say when one is swept away with too much of a good thing, the sense of well being often makes one confess to one's wrong doings. But it's a momentary passing feeling and does not warrant a complete change of heart of the person. Thus Suman confesses her crime but in the very next instance she hangs on to the age old Sujata hate campaign seeking revenge syndrome! and pins the blame on Sujata! Justifies her innocence again in killing Kajri and harkens the spirit to accept the blood sacrifice of Sujata's family , be at peace! and leave her in peace for the rest of her life!!
Yes Suman takes people for a ride! uses them! but gives them a hefty payoff too! As for her foes, she uses them too, by cheating them by her deceptive puritanical humble widow masquerade. They too will get justice, that which she, Suman metes out!
All's going according to plan. Suman claimed haughtily once, her plans had back up so no room for slip ups. The sacrificial lambs are prepared for slaughter. Like the big bad wolf Suman sweetly cajoles Madhav out of the suitcase near the railing. Muffled and gagged he still calls out to his mother Vividha! To save him from this wicked witch.. the child's incoherent cries too, rumbles his mother's intuition and Vividha gets a ray of hope that Kajri is not dead!! Next she begs for mercy from this Kajri..
So begins to shake Suman's illusionary house of delusions, vengeance and hate. One by one walls will begin to tumble down. Starting with Guddi her handmaiden that Suman uses to rope Atharv into a namesake marriage, fatherhood, all to divert his memory from the existence of Vividhahhh! Guddi , the pretty face which Suman uses to pump memory blocking potions into Atharv's body and mind. Pity Guddi could never make it to Atharv's heart and soul! But now it's Guddi who brings Atharv to the sacrificial altar under cover of a hoodie! under cover! such irony! Suman is cheated , deceived by giddy Guddi as Raghav is put to bed and instead the lamb brought to the altar is Vipul!! Suman taken for a ride by Guddi!?
The second outer wall of Suman's fake faade that tumbles is Kajri, when she sets free Vividha! a mother who leaps to free her child from the clutches of an evil monster! Suman's army surrenders gradually , as Kajri shows Vividha the way to the terrace!
The next main foundation wall to shake is Suman's veiled mentor..who basically comes to tell Suman , new moon time is up! and she's blown it! Suman begs for a way out! The veiled mentor mocks her and tells her to make do with what she's got! Madhav! Push the boy over.. Suman a bad loser, never gives up.. if not together she'll get Sujata's spawn one by one! Atharv she'll get another time.. push Madhav!!
One push.. delayed by the hand of destiny. As the very foundations of Suman's delusionary house rocks violently! Vividha gets to the terrace! Atharv by some strange power stirs out of his bed hauls himself! Vividha's screams Madhav! Madhav! reaches his ears, pierces his heart! His legs come into action! as he races like the wind! To match the leaping gazelle legs of Vividha.. push him over Suman! topple him over!
Madhav... falls from the heavens swirling down..down.. a boon from the gods .. straight into the arms of his maker.. Atharv catches the priceless gift in his arms right in time! He gave Madhav life how could he let death touch him?
Atharv looks up at the balcony.. the killers duck out of sight..Vividha grabs her son and cries.. uncontrollably, too busy to see anything else. Ravish and Sujata turn up in the courtyard out of the blue! Madhav yells dad to Ravish! The penny suddenly drops for Atharv .. his eyes settle on madhvi / Madhav's mother.. his eyes gawk at her unveiled face..this face.. the tune depart not from my heart.. Vividhahhh.. the girl in his dreams..madhav's mother and the man?Madhav's father.. his short term memories squeeze his heart with a sweet pain.. it was her, Vividha! the veiled woman he held close to his heart in an embrace.. that slip and being caught! it was her Vividha.. sweet girl of my dreams, my imagination ,my faint memory.. enthralled he stands by the revelation. Is life taking him for a ride?
A mother's heart can take a bumpy ride for the love of her son. Sujata's maternal instincts in one instance covers a distance of four silent years and her loving palm caresses the stubble face of her beloved Atharv.. who knows not the kind lady's sudden affection. Guddi turns up as a current reminder in Atharv's life ,his wife and tears him away from his real family. how long will Guddi take the world for a ride??
On a moral low ground, high up tucked away on the balcony tremble the losers both Suman and mentor who clearly sees its game up and advises the deluded Suman! all is lost! Cut your losses and run for cover! its funny they come down the stairs steeped in darkness.. for four years taking two families for a ride..
But its lights on now! Suman stands exposed surrounded by all. Suddenly she is alone, one by one the tools she used, the nuts and bolts that tightened her chassis snapped loose! and today she stands like an old rusted automobile, fit for the scrapyard! Once the word mother comes out Ravish's mouth Suman feels the ground moves from under her feet. She hopes all her hard work on Atharv will work.. she had invested much in him. alas! It's Atharv who enters into an argumentative debate over whose mother is Suman?? Atharv's natural denial..show brainwashed symptoms. He says he cannot understand what's going on? Vividha tells him, its because his understanding has been locked but she understands everything..the truth will be revealed before all. The reason so many lives have been destroyed due to one person..this woman! she looks at Suman.. can Suman bank on Atharv's state of mind? He calls her mother.. Suman who is anything but a mother! Despite having lost the game.. as new moon night is over without a blood sacrifice . And she believes she is still cursed..
But it's another woman an exemplary young mother Vividha who clarifies many matters. Suman denies everything ,pins blame on the veiled woman who washes her hands off the family and their house and throws back the blame on Suman. Yet again its the stoic ,steadfast , persevering, intrepid mother Vividha, who challenges the disguise of the veiled woman to be a man Chintu! Suman suddenly feels cheated, swindled and blackmailed by all her accomplices, confidantes and advisors! and once again fears that Kajri is a thirty year curse upon her, from of a roaming spirit? Suman is proved to be a liar, cheat and a schemer!! she is anything but a mother.. how can she ? she never cared for her son's Ravish's feeling.. Suman only wanted to make her own house of cards but the domino effect of close ones letting her down will continue to make her more bitter? Vividha finds a new challenge.. introducing Raghav to Atharv Sujata! The man she knows since ages..something tells me Raghav won't need toxic drugs to find the real Atharv Sujata .. for if he knows Madhav's mother Vividha .. then the task will be fun to find Atharv Sujata whose love goes beyond Vividha,to Gungun and Payal too.. Ravish ,calm ,cool and collected..has some wrestling to do with his sentiments.. a son's leaning towards his mother .. he has been taken for a ride.. by the woman who bore him.. can a mother's do wrong ? hamlet53 28.3.17
