I read somewhere in twitter that Dev comes to know abt Vicky's game in their separation
I'm sure they'll now show Dev rising...taking stand for Sona in IN. His character growth in S2 shows that...he wont listen to anyone...only to Soha,Golu or may be to Sonakshi...no other person's opinion will hold any importance in his decisions...welcome change.

Weekend brings sheer optimism in me...just bcoz its weeekennnddd..and phillauri was good too.

I'm hoping to see Dev rising

Since Sona is no more into fairytale love with him, there is a more sense of practicality about her now, even if she still loves him and admires him as a father to Soha, she did not mingle her words when it came to his family..

I'm hoping to see Sona standing tall

Hope pe toh duniya chalti hai😆

I believe in how different culture and traditional practices bring in values into human lives.. Every religion created in the intention to introduce some beliefs that could bring in difference in human values. It's a very huge topic and never ending on it's own..
The discussion point about a new bride moving into the groom's house - While various Povs can be thrown into this system, the underlying message is to respect the girl who is leaving her comfort zone, her known people, her lifestyle, her etc. to move into a new zone where her life is gonna be turned completely.. First of all this girl should be respected for what she's doing.. She demanding changes, her intrusions, etc etc all come and go but the fact that she's struggling her ways through it all needs to be acknowledged... If the groom walks in to the bride's house for the same, then yes he deserves to be respected as well.. If the husband-wife share the household chores, it's not like they should demand it from each other.. Instead respect each other for sharing the load amongst themselves.. And it's gotta be in the mindset that each of the chore is not attached to their gender and the appreciation has to come beyond the gender discrimination.. Not like being a guy I am doing all this.. or being a girl I am doing all that.. The mindset itself needs a constant shift beyond the stereotyping..
And it's a long long way to break these stereotypes and come out of this gender based societal pressure..

Exactly it's all about respect between them.👏Be it male or female.Remember when Dev refused to fold his own clothes and termed it as "ladkiyon wale kaam"😆 so yeah we need to go above this gender stereotyping.

Guys, I was watching old episodes and ended up with Shimla episodes, it feels so disgusting to see what Ishwari thinks of Sonakshi and this stupid Dev doesn't see anything wrong in what his mom has done and doesn't understand what his mom is after and starts to pacify his wife. Kya aadmi hai yaar, disgusting. After all this I get to watch this stupid tashan, eye locks and all kinds of nonsense without him even understanding what had happened to them. What is he going achieve or do different now to make things better if he doesn't even understand what was lacking in their relationship previously.

And the show is getting too regressive for my liking and I can't even understand whatever happening in the show is being accepted as normal and relatable.. So I must be the odd one or must be the lucky one to have not been into any of such people around me in my relationship that matters to me.. Otherwise having such people around me whose mindset is so set on some things which I've to consciously work upon fixing it.. OMG 😲 I have always appreciated the fact that I've wonderful people around me whom I respect so much for whatever they are and for their wonderful mindset towards betterment of themselves an inturn to the society.. I've to Thank God for the beautiful people around me.. Especially the ones like The Boses'.. I don't even want to come across anyone like The Dixits'.. Even not someone like Sona who wants to fall for someone like Dev.. 😆 Let it happen somewhere which I don't know of.. And this being my first saas-bahu type serial (anyway I didn't realize that it was one when I started it 😆) it's so difficult for me to even think of the mindset that the show spreads across..

Exactly. It seems that only for Dixits blood is thicker than water. Doesn't seem to be the case for the women of Bose family. Asha is all nicey nicey with the man who insulted and still insults her husband, made her daughter cry and suffer and for all she knows threw them on the street.

Sonakshi talks about family unity and the importance of joint decision. Yet didn't bother asking any of her family member before issuing Dev open invitation to move in her father's home. She didn't even bother to discuss it with Saurabh who is now getting married to Ronita. I was very upset with Sonakshi. I can't even blame Bijoy now because he is having to put up with the man he hates because of his daughter. It was not fair to any member of the Bose family.

@underline- IKR
Asha is an insane case. What she is up to? Dixits brought them on road, still she acts like their samdhan. Did you notice she didn't mind ish- ex gkb accusing sona, bijoy tried his best to give them back, but Asha was busy chanting mein sona-dev ke saath hu.

In this entire mess, I find only bijoy as realistic person. I know he's irritating, but that's how any normal person would behave with abnormal dixits.

As I have said sona is one hopeless case. This is third time she's ready to be fooled. This time at least I won't feel bad for her. She had a chance to stay away from dixit clan when Dev offered him to stay in a seperate house. But no. She has to bring dev at her place to disturb peace of her own people, and then go to his place to take taunts of ishwari and ex gkb.

Sorry for being out of circulation. My husband is in Detroit today and will return tomorrow. So we wanted to spend time on the weekend. I will post the link for new post as soon as the episode airs. Until then, feel free to carry on your discussion here. 😃
