One film released. That's something 99.99 percentage of strugglers don't achieve in BW. Maybe they can manage as extras but not leads.And I am sure all Alisters must have gone gaga over his performance. That would take an outsider at least a decade to achieve after his first film released if they let him survive. So he is a big achiever.

I can see a game plan here. Harsh and Kapoor family wants Ranveer to work opposite Sonam. If he acknowledges Ranveer as cousni then producers would not cast Sonam opposite him.

Also Harsh also mentioned that he wants to work with DP and PC. He probably also wants to work with Ms.Bhatt. So he is trying to placate them.
