Chapter 1
Raman was not able to sleep. Ashok's false words. Ishita's DNA reports. Everything was taking a toll over his senses. After Ishita went to her clinic before saying to think about her words, Raman went to Ruhi and showered all his love to her in just 5 minutes. Then he made her eat and then sleep. While Ruhi was sleeping in her room, Ishita was sleeping on the couch, Raman was lost in his thoughts. Then , at last, he decided to have some straight talks to Ishita.
He went near the couch, sat on the nearby table and started staring Ishita. After few minutes, he realized what he was doing. He shakes her and said
R: Ishita, wake up
I: (no response)
R: Ishita, wake up
I: what is it Raman? (Her eyes closed)
R: Ishita wake up, I need to talk to you
I: we will talk tomorrow. Let me sleep.
R: Ishita please its important.
I: alright you say. I am listening. (eyes still closed)
R: no, not here. Let's go to the terrace.
I: (peeping out of the blanket with one eye still closed) are you planning to jump.(getting back inside the blanket) do that tomorrow. Let me sleep now.
R: (gritting his teeth,) ishita wake up
Raman forcefully made her stand and then they started walking towards terrace. All this while Ishita's head was on his shoulder as she was too sleepy and right at moment his first priority was to talk to her.
They reached the terrace. She sat on the bench and he sat sat beside her. And then he started
R: Ishita I know that from past few days, I have not been behaving very nicely. With Ruhi, with all the family members and with you also. Actually I want to say that I want to set things right.
And then he turned towards Ishita to see her reaction only to see her sleeping.
R: (shouting) Ishita
I: (waking up) huh what?
R: you are sleeping?
I: no I am not sleeping. I am listening to you very seriously, all those things which you didn't say, carefully.
R: I love you
I: what??? (Shocked)
R: (smirking) relax. That was just to wake you up.
I: (eyes widened) you are so bad.
R: (smirking) I know that.
I: get to the point
R: listen to me very carefully, I won't repeat it (Taking a deep breath) Ishita I know, from the past few days I have not been behaving very nicely. With Ruhi, with all the family members and with you also. Actually I want to say that I want to set things right.
Raman was standing near the railing of the terrace while Ishita was sitting on the bench near it. He turned to see her reaction only to find her starring. He smiled at her and said
R: what are you staring at?
I: I am seeing that Raavan kumar improved in a single day
R: I was not that bad that I will improve in a day.
I: yeah right
She went near him and stood beside near him and said
I: Raman it's good that with time you realized that you were wrong. You know when you refused to give blood to Ruhi I was so pissed off. And then your continuous rash behaviour. But I'm not understanding why did you think so?
R: oh please don't ask that. Do you remember that valentine day party? I was so drunk and that 6 ft 2 inch...
I: who?
R: that bloody Ashok
I: what type of name is this?
R: it's not the name, it's his height.
I: 😔
R: he was continuously saying anything and everything and I believed him like a stupid. I am a stupid.
I: oh yes you are.
R: but you were having full faith in me.
I: obviously. From the day I came, I have been observing you both. Ruhi is your carbon copy.
R: don't you think you know I bit too much about me.
I: o shut up. I am not even interested about knowing you. I just noticed that, casually.
R: thank you Ishita. Thank you so much
I: Raman it's ok. It was just my duty. I don't wantyour thank you. I want a promise from you.(She said forwarding her hand towards him)
R: what promise?
I: that you won't ignore Ruhi and won't behave rashly with her
R: (smilingly kept his hand on hers) promise
I: Ruhi promise
R: Ruhi promise
Their hands parted and they again stood beside each other
I: Raman
R: hmm?
I: if you don't mind, can I ask you a question ?
R: yeah
I: that day when you came drunk to my clinic, you said that
R: that?
I: (hesitatingly) that Adi please don't leave me
R: I guess I was drunk so I might have said that
I: really Raman?
R: Adi called me that day. He said he wanted to meet me.
I: really. That's great.
R: nothing is great about it. He wanted to meet me because he wanted to tell me that he won't meet me ever again.
I: huh?
R: adi is getting a passport for himself in which his father's name will be Ashok Khanna and not Raman Bhalla
I: (shocked) what?
R: yeah. He is no more Aditya Bhalla. He is now Aditya Khanna.
I: but Raman
R: (cutting her in between) let's talk about something else. Please.
I: yaah. But Raman (keeping her hand on his shoulder) the way Ruhi reconciled with her father, one day Adi will also reconcile with his father.
R: (looking at her) u think so?
I: I am sure.
They were silent again. When Raman said
R: Ishita
I: hmm?
R: thank you. Thank you so much.
I: It's ok Raman. Listen..
R: yeha
I: lets go back home. Its cold here.
R: let's go
And they went back to their home. Their room. Raman proceeded towards the bed while Ishita towards the couch when he said
R: Ishita
I: hmm
R: you can sleep on the bed.
I: but Raman
R: We have whole life left to share with each other. let's start with this bed. come on.
I: R u sure?
R: ofcourse
I: alright.
And they slept on the bed a little distance apart but yet together.
