I saw people a bit upset/mad at Kirti for not standing with Naira against creep. Initially I didn't like it too, but then I thought about it. Thought about the kind of family which she has come from. Goenkas are nothing like Singhanias or Maheshwari's. In Goenka house hold all woman except dadi seem to be second class citizens. If you all remember, Naira was about to sacrifice her love, because BD kept on comparing her to Akshara and both Rama and BD kept on saying how much Gayu had lost and stuff. Imagine a sherni, a strong girl like Naira, can back out from taking her right, her love. So then how can we expect a girl like Kirti who has been raised in the family like Goenkas to raise her voice for herself, suddenly in one day. Plus Kirti wants Karthik to get back home. One of the main reasons Karthik is at GV is dadi. If creep's truth is out. The fact that dadi knew it all along would be revealed too and this truth could separate Karthik from Goenkas forever.
Let me remind everyone a thing. One reason we all love Kaira is that they are connectable. Neither of them are mahaan, or any sort of saint. They both misunderstand, they make mistakes, they take time to forgive. Karthik is one of the best male lead out there, but he is still very human, he is not a male version of all those mahaan female leads out there, who just keep on forgiving everyone for everything, when Naira misunderstood him he took his time to forgive her, like any normal person would. Now tell me, you have a very good bond with your sibiling, now your gf/bf or spouse tells you that your sibiling is being physically abused. You ask your sibiling about it, you tell him/her that you will stand by them, but they deny to be in an abusive relation. Will you think they are lying? On what bases will you think they are lying. Karthik Kirti share a good bond, for Karthik he doesn't have a reason to think Kirti will lie to him.
