i will try explain how i feel abt this one..u can correct me am am wrong in my

now to my interpretation of the story..
two fools that is rahul n anjali stomps abt in their colg..
one being a boy n the other trudging along as the tomboy..
of course rahul is the big flirt ..he has his own predatory
criteria to consider a girl hot or cold..whatever..n most certainly
he does nt see anjali as a girl as anjali herself really does nt behave
girly until that pyar dosti hota hain class..
so really these two are best of chums n nothing more..
as evident from rifat bi telling get married to rahul n anjali says chi rahul mera
yaar hain..n rifat bi says yaar kab dildaar ban jayen who knows etc..
so at this point neither rahul nor anjali is interested in each other in the
more than friends kind of relationship..
now enters tina..rahul i think rahul does nt actually loves tina bt being the male that he
is n as tina rejects his friendship n kind of bosses around in that om jagadish hare
song this man's hurt ego feels she must be wooed n charmed n conquered..
n this becomes his definition of "love" that is the not so easy to attain girl like tina
becomes his object of fascination n he names it as love..
now once rahul starts spending more time with his conquest anjali feels ignored..
bereft..she now misses rahul n the min rahul defines pyar dosti hota hain she thinks
she feels rahul her best friend n she misses him so this must be what is real love
to feel worthless lonely without him n she acknowledges her feelings for first time
so tries to act like a girl for first time to woo back rahul to get his attention..of course
rahul still sees her as the daily rice n tina as the biriyani so he turns to biriyani more..
anjali feels she does nt stand any more chance nor can she bear tina rahul together so
leaves him forever..
now rahul does nt like it..biriyani chahiyen bt cnt do without rice..rice is his identity
biriyani is his luxury😆
now fast forward..even though tina writes her letter to her daughter..
recall that little anjali first wants to check if what tina has said has any
resonance in rahul..so she makes him play that neelam special game..
the min she says anjali..rahul says sharma..
note that rahul does not say anjali khanna which is his daughter
though he should have rather said anjali khanna n not sharma..
so it is proved here itself that rahul loves anjali deeply n its a hidden emotion in him
to which he is unaware or refuses to admit..it is untrue that he sees anjali in sari n then
starts wanting her..no Sir.that is nt the case..its nt the sari the make up..the hairdo..
the min little anjali says anjali n he completes it without blinking sharma it is proved that
the foolish rahul's only genuine love is anjali ..so rahul is not swayed by sari or transformation
of anjali is proved here..

now back to anjali..she has loved only rahul n none..
now if u have an aged mother pestering u daily for marriage n u need to
shut her up forever u have no choice bt to settle down with any langda lula kala
enters aman..she feels ok whatever shuts my mother bothering n ruining her health n this
continuous pestering..anjali never fools aman ..she made her disinterest in him clear from
very beginning..which even aman understands bt aman is hopeful that after marriage
he will win her love too..recall again that aman tells anjali mujhe aisa kyun lagta hain tum mujh se
pyar nahin karti ho?to that anjali replies as a casual matter of factly that kyun ki nahin
karti hoon pyaar..also recall anjali makes it clear to her mother pyar toh maine kar liyan hain..
yeh ek samjhauta hain as she wishes her mother to know that dnt expect me more than being
socially married to the man ur choosing for me..bt her mother too like aman hopes
that after marriage things will fall in its place n hopefully anjali will love back aman..
hence proved anjali never deceived aman never played with him n never promised him anything..
n so i dnt feel anjali is shallow..

lastly aman realizes that he will get anjalis body n never her love respect if he marries her
even after hearing from little anjali everything so what use is this marriage?it would be
marrying a corpse of anjali so he tells her go to rahul..

so neither rahul fell in love after seeing anjali in sari nor anjali ever is shallow
rather it was optimistic aman n anjali's mother who was trying to impose this
marriage on her..

well i always believe this platform should be used for discussion n not for
becoming possessive of actors actress n jumping in their defenses ..
no sir they are not our friends or relatives to defend n pick up fights ..
they are just commodities n i dnt fight for commodities..i love the characters
nt the men or women off screen they are neither worth drooling nor worth aping
or idolizing ..they are just plain commodity we should enjoy paying them their
price to entertain us bas..so why should i misbehave with anyone for them?

I do agree that Rahul was a shallow character. It would be wrong to say that he was always in love with Anjali. There were numerous instances where he saw right through her. One particular scene stood out for me where Anjali tries to dress up like Tina and everyone makes fun of her including Rahul. Infact it was Tina who sees what's happening and is the first to console her after which Rahul supports her. And when Anjali transforms into a swan, Rahul is instantly charmed. 😕


Anjali on the other hand was more consistent in her feelings for Rahul. I also found her way more mature than Rahul. I don't see anything wrong in her marrying Aman because we do tend to move on in life. We don't keep waiting for someone special. Her only fault IMO was that she treats that marriage like a samjhauta and doesn't open up about her feelings for Rahul to Aman.
