Salman Khan Becomes The Highest Tax Payer This Year. Kapil Sharma's Figures Will Leave You Shocked!
It's that time of the year when Bollywood stars are busy filing their tax returns. A leading website has rolled out the list of celebrities who have paid their advance tax by 15th March 2017, for this year. According to thedataSalman Khan has become the highest tax payer in Bollywood, for 2016-17.
Salman paid a total of Rs 44.5 Crore as the advance tax this year. As compared to last year, the superstar's annual income rose by 39% this year, as he paid Rs 32.2 Crore as advance tax in 2015-16.
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma too has paid his tax and his figures have left us stunned. The ace comedian has left behind superstars like Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, in this race!
Last year, Kapil paid a tax of mere Rs 7 Crore. This shows his income grew by 341%, this year.
Akshay paid a tax of Rs 30 Crore last financial year which means he was a de-growth this year.
Hrithik grew by 74% this year as he paid a tax of Rs 14 Crore in 2015-16.
Ranbir Kapoor also witnessed de-growth this year as he paid a tax of Rs 22.3 Crore last year.
Aamir grew by 54% this year, as he apid a tax of Rs 9.6 Crore in 2015-16.
Karan Johar has grown by 473% this year as he paid a mere amount of Rs 2 Crore as tax, last financial year.
Though Deepika reached Hollywood this year, but she witnessed a growth of just 13%. Last year, her advance tax was Rs 9 Crore.
Alia's income increased by 46% this year, as she paid a tax of Rs 2.9 Crore last year.
New mommy Kareena Kapoor Khan de-grew by 44% as she paid a tax of rs 7 Crore in 2015-16
