And IMO she started singing better after she was dethroned. Yeah, I like her 90s songs, when she started singing for Manisha Koirala.

I never thought or analysed Kavita's 80s career the way you did, and I totally agree after reading your views... 😉

However, I disagree with the underlined part.

Anuradha RULED the early 90s. Her songs in DIL, SAAJAN, BETA, AASHIQUI made her the number one singer during that period. But she faded quickly after that.

Alka was consistent throughout the 90s, but took the throne just after the mid-90s.

Kavita was the Queen of the mid-90s. She won the Filmfare Award for Playback in 1995, 1996, 1997.
