What exactly is stopping Sahil from eloping and marrying Ria (his GF)??

He's clearly against his marriage to Sanjana - he seems to be the only sane person in that family who can actually see Sanjana does NOT love him but HIS money... - he clearly sees no hope in getting any help from any family member - the only one to support him is his mother but she's quite helpless at the minute, so why doesn't he actually follow his advice and elope ??

He told ranveer clearly in holi episode that if he is forced to marry sanjana he's going to runaway from home as his friend did. Sahil confirmed he is in love with Ria and wants to marry her, so I don't get what is stopping him from marrying Ria and turning up at Mittal residence with her - surely the family then can't force him to marry Sanjana. Agreed they'd be angry and probably disown him, but they usually come around as well. So what is stopping Sahil???

Because the same emotional blackmail is done on him. Bringing bad name to the family by eloping, and the threat of those photos giving further bad name to family. Then, there is now dadi's wish of all three sons in mandap.

I suspect he may also be likely to be kicked out/cut off by Bade papu.

Honestly cannot stand the thought of Sanjana getting what she wants in the end. I hope one day truth comes out and everyone from Suman to Ranveer to the elders apologize and support a divorce. And he divorces her and stays divorced from her. Unfortunately, I know that has no chance of happening

ya I think so too...So is Sanjana a positive character or negative...I am wondering if she will have a redemption track after marriage

the family is acting really stupid in relation to his marriage with sanjana. I mean cant they stop and think for once that who must have taken the pics when everyone was busy celebrating holi? and if someone by accident did, how on earth did they reach kalavati and sanjana's phone? and then how on earth did they end up in the anniversary photo collection that was in sindoora's control when the incident didn't even happen on the anniversary party?? like can't they join the dots and realise someone is playing a game? are they really that stupid?
