i thought that was some great symbolism there👏
that even tho saanjh thinks that she is arjuns friend and well-wisher, she is actually creating more problems than bringing happiness in Arjuns life. her presence influences him more negatively than positively.
let me give a small comparison:
when arjun is drinking
saanjh tried to stop him but couldn't, but then she ultimately gives up and lets him do what he wants
maya accomplished to stop him for his betterment... maya doesnt give up until he tells her he won't drink anymore.
this is a small example with a big meaning
often we think that people (be it parents, spouses) constantly nag us and tell us to stop doing certain things. we often get annoyed, but we dont realize they are saying that for our betterment. arjun at this point was thinking exactly the same thing. At this point he was choosing the friend that allowed him to drink, rather than the wife that doesnt want anything bad to happen to him. he was enjoying that one drink that could've ultimately brought him to his death rather than worrying about his wife and unborn child.🥱
one more thing i would like to add is the there is a difference between a wife crying and a girlfriend crying...
if your wife cries cuz of you, it shows that you have failed in some responsibility/duty
if your girlfriend cries cuz of you, it shows that you have failed in some expectation
a man has duties towards a wife, and just expectations towards a girlfriend
there is a big difference🥱🥱🥱
up until the point that maya wasn't arjun's wife, maya just had expectations from arjun. but now arjun has duties to fulfill, and any sane wife would go crazy seeing her husband do that disgusting PDA with his so called best friend in the name of friendship!🤢🤢
