I am half Konkani/half Gujarati, but I grew up watching Hindi movies. I do not think I have seen any Konkani or Gujarati movie ever. I have no clue about these film industries. I have seen Gujarati plays though. Gujarati theater is absolutely vibrant.

Living in Maharashtra, I do speak Marathi. I have seen several Marathi films. Back in the nineties, I was a huge fan of Laxmikant Berde and Asok Saraf comedies. I have not kept up with the Marathi film industry as much but in recent times I think Marathi cinema has matured more than Bollywood.
