Living in Maharashtra, I do speak Marathi. I have seen several Marathi films. Back in the nineties, I was a huge fan of Laxmikant Berde and Asok Saraf comedies. I have not kept up with the Marathi film industry as much but in recent times I think Marathi cinema has matured more than Bollywood.

laxmikant's son abhinay is good. he just did his debut in Jan in a marathi film
