Court scene today - whole family is there - Pavakkai, her mom, Rajesh sitting behind them - Pavakkai's mom tries to smile at Vani - Pavakkai looks away veruppaa - Vani follows suit 😉
Sadha and Selvi are brought out ... Pavakkai stares vengefully at her. 😡
Pavakkai's lawyer Annamalai briefs the case .. Sadha is called to the stand and asked if he killed Bala .. Sada says no and judge says he can go back down. Anna says that Bala's body was found in Sada's travels car .. but Vani says that Bala and Sadha have no enmity, and no case was filed against Sada except for the anonymous call - which line is disconnected, as said by the inspector. Vani also says that Sada's hand print is not on the body or the uruttu kattai - Anna happily states that Selvi's hand print is on the uruttu kattai - Finally Pavakkai gives Vani her attention 😉
Next they call Selvi - Selvi says the same thing when asked - Anna vehemently objects ... romba kathurar pa ... says that Selvi killed Bala by beating him with the stick to rescue the kidnapped Thenu. Selvi looks at Vani - Vani gives her the OK signal - Selvi says yes she beat Bala on the head for self defence - but she can't believe that she killed him - Anna says that Selvi has accepted that she killed Bala..
Vani rejects Anna's claim - submits the force test document - and says Selvi's beating is not severe enough to kill him - Selvi was merely in panic and not in kola veri.. Anna claims that this in Selvi and Vani's favour - Vani says it was approved by the court
Anna expresses his disdain that Vani is supporting both Sada and Selvi.
Anna keeps talking as if Bala was a thyagi and Selvi is a thug .. Vani points this out and says how Bala tried to harass Selvi even though she is married and a mother - then talks about this issue of abuse against women in society - talks about the recent events 👏👏 Anna says Vani is trying to turn it into a society issue - and fires at her to answer who killed Bala
Vani says it is neither Sada or Selvi - but a third person - who suffered under Bala - calls Point who is accompanied by Bala's adiyals Thirupathi and Rooban - tells the court these two will tell the rest of the story of how they came to see Bala after Selvi left ..
