Yeah it was pretty obvious when the announcement of his children happened he decided to take a dig at Kangana. It seemed like a cover up so the questions on his surrogacy babies are reduced. He can't exactly go into hiding like Tusshar did.

Karan may have admitted being guilty of nepotism but he also gets very defensive about the topic. It does get to him because he does look down on outsiders.
