Ok this is for trying to understand arjun's character
arjun had said on mauritius, that he will give that shell pearl to the most imp thing in his life and he gave it to maya
he confessed under influence of alcohol, bragged rather, how he achieved his dreams in just 6 months and became boss and now maya dances on his fingertips... the same arjun (on next wedding day) told ayaan that all he said was true...and when ayaan looked too shocked, he quickly turned it to a joke and said arjun sharma would work hard to seek his ambitions rather than stoop so low
in the 1st episode, arjun said in front of god that saanjh is the most imp person of his life
he always says to ayaan that ayaan is his life...
in maya's mansion, arjun claimed he always wanted a big house and all the luxuries...remember how 18 lakh salary had stunned him out and he had said "mumbai ka raja kon?" š in the 1st episode itself, he told saanjh that his dream is to own a big house etc...
but now we see the same arjun pushing ayaan, disowning his mother, telling saanjh to address him as sir or boss...and now he even threatened maya of divorce if she insists on staying in that "middle class small flat" (his own words)
