Y do people except female lead to heal male lead?

Y everyone says female lead has to change male lead n understands his pain?? Repair him or deal with his anger. Or his manhandling.. What abt female leads pain? Is it her duty to sacrifice her self respect n everything?? What abt her pain??

Here are the reasons:
When she was a lonely sad flower in a big garden full of beautiful flowers, he chose her and said "I love you as a man loves a woman".

When she was getting engaged to Ritwick, the dim boy from Kolkata who couldn't even afford a building for his business without a huge loan, he wrote the best parting letter any man ever wrote to his love; and when it all got too much he drank in his sorrow and almost killed himself losing his balance.

Although he knew she can't handle all his love and they will need children to deal with his love, when he heard that she has only 7% chances of bearing a child, he sacrificed his dreams, hope and future to marry her.

When he knew her dad's big mouth and arrogance, he allowed them to serve non-veg food at their wedding.

Every time he met her parents he took their favourite sweets from the 'best Bengali shop Dixit can buy' (for everyone else there is halva)

Even when his mum told him in a round about way that she is his only mother, he still addressed FLs mother as 'ma'.

He always values relationships more than names. That is why when she kept calling him "mumma's boy", he still valued her as his wife (and kept addressing her Miss. Bose even when she reminded him that she is Mrs. Dixit now).

When his hand accidentally touched his FILs cheek (it was an accident, I have proof. If it was on purpose and hard, Bijoy's glasses would have flown away) and the FL made a fuss, he ran all the way to the door behind them and apologised.

When FL, out of absolute arrogance, decided to mortgage everything and return Rs 5Cr. he took (gently holding her upper arm) her to their room and tried to tell her nicely that with her 'ghas bhus' knowledge she can never pay it back.

When FL said 'your mum wants us to separate' he kept quiet.

When FL said 'you should have helped MIL and DIL bond, instead you kept lying and distanced us' He spoke the absolute truth ' Yes, I shouldn't have loved you and married you'.

When the FL purposely pushed his mother to the floor, while she herself stayed upright, he very politely told her to leave the house, no harsh words, just tears that she pushed his mother.

I can go on but phew! isn't that enough already?!
