Copy pasting from my review for Monday's episode -

Okay, I don't know how K will explain this - Accident bhi ho toh Mansi needs appropriate punishnment - how does he think N&Fam will let this go. They were willing to punish K, there is no protecting Mansi. I'm very confused how I should feel about all this. He loves his sister, he wants to tell Naira the truth. What is he expecting? I get that he might be fine with the rishta tutting, but there is no way he can save Mansi from rightful punishment. I'm not convinced with this track. I just wish they'd let Kashyap be the killer. This is just unnecessary complication, with bad acting.

What are you thoughts? I don't know exactly what this track wants me to do.

Feel sympathetic to Mansi? - I don't. It was a hit and run.

Feel Kartik's conflict? - I do, but how does he want to protect her? She needs to confess to the cops.

Really would like to hear from you guys, cause I'm not on board with this track - there is something off about K. Like, the guy made sure Naman was behind bars for trying to murder Naitik. Does he think him explaining to the Singhania's will make this go away for Mansi? Even if it was an accident, won't he want her to go to the cops? Where is that I stand by right walla attitude of K? Does it not extend to his family?

I'd like to get some perspective from you peeps!

I think it is his 'I stand by right' attitude which is compelling him to talk to Naira.

Even if he knows that Mansi should be taken to the cops for this, he wouldn't take that step before talking to Naira and family.

Eventually, it is going to be their decision. Not K's.

Mansi is his sister and she is quite young. So he feels protective about her. He doesn't expect things to become alright for Mansi but he said he would try to explain that it was an accident.

But if Naira's family decided to take her to the cops, I don't think he would oppose that.

For him, the priority right now is to let Naira know the truth. And the decision of what to do with that info lies totally with Naira and family.

To be very honest, I would have preferred not dragging K's family into this mess at all. They have already dragged K. It should have stopped there.

I don't think they expect the audience to be sympathetic to Mansi. And there is probably a lot more to the story as seen from tonight's episode.

Its just a plot where they can create serious misunderstandings between Kaira. Obviousy, they have been happy for far too long according to the makers.😛

Everytime K says I'll protect you or the like, these feelings aren't coming across for me. What it looks like is he'll explain to the S's and the worst he thinks is that the marriage will break and Mansi will go scot free. Probably just me, but very disappointed at the execution cause I can't connect to this track at all.

Yes. Like Mansi's entry always seemed like such an afterthought to me. Like bas bana dete hai character to cause differences between Kaira. They should have stopped the Akshara track with Kashyap. No one mourned her enough (it became about Kartik in jail and Naira couldn't even mourn her mother well). They should have just let this be. There are a lot of tracks still, the show has a lot of steam in it. So, this could have been eliminated.

Actually there were rumors about an older brother for Gayu and then they scrapped that. I think it was a last minute decision to include Mansi when they scrapped that.

Yes I get what you mean about K. But I don't think he has even thought about the consequences for Mansi. For him, all he is thinking about right now is that Naira should know the truth come what may. Because that is the right thing to do right now.

Bold: I agree. This I can get behind as K has been super flustered ever since he cam to know. I think I just wanted more clarity on what 'protect' means for K.

I agree that dragging ks family into this has been totally unnecessary.. k has shed enough rears during that horrible and heavy separation track..

If they wanted problems for kaira they should have opened up the swarnish relationship with karthik wala track.. that would have made Karthik the angry man..

That's ok.. he would not remain angry at her for long.. but putting them through pain like this Karthik no

W and naira later when she comes to know the truth is not fair..

if they show singhus n naira forgives mansi n dont send her to jail then it ll set a bad example n yrkkh dont set such example so hopefully i wont b dissapointed.i nvr even blame naira when she mistrusted kartik abt ak's accident track.ek to she wasnt in a state to think rationally upar se she knew he was drunk while driving.it could b anyone else than ak whom.he might hv hit.infact look he himself faced an accident that night just coz he was drunk.u dont really hv control over urself when u drink then whrs the fault of naira to think he might hv did the accident..similarly,kartik's saying its just an accident doesnt take away the fact mansi did the accident.hit n run is a crime.period.ur "just by mistake" took away sumone's life,a family was shaken to the core.just think if naira wasnt thr that time singhus ll not hv been the same which they r now..so even if they show singhus forgives her coz shes a kid( i dont know y they r taking it to naira's childhood way to show naira might forgive her but dude she was innocent thr here mansi did it) they do show mansi going to rehab or sumthing n setting a good example for the society.
