Every second the world is changing and it took just a second to change hers.

Anika's phone rang and She excused herself to pick the call. It was from an unknown number. "hello" anika asked. The person on the other side said something which shocked her to the core . her happiness was as usual shortlived , she shouldn't have thought otherwise. Anika smiled at shivaay when he looked suspicious. She went inside where shivaay could'nt hear her conversation.

"tum akeli ho na? shivaay tumhare saath nahi hai na?" anika couldn't believe her ears when she heard what the caller said next. " tum ab tak pehchaan gayi hogi mujhe. Dekho anika tumhe call karne ka reason sirf yeh hai ki main tumhe warn karna chahti hun. Shivaay se dur raho varna accha nahi hoga" this caller was non other than tia's mother, Mrs Kapoor. Anika didn't know if she should say something to shivaay. Before she could even take a step her phone pinged indicating that a message just arrived.

She open the message and read :

Ye video dekho aur fir tum khudh hi jaan jaogi ki tumhe kya karna hai...

It was the same video recording that mrs kapoor used to blackmail shivaay. After watching the video anika did realise what she had to do, she had to stay away from shivaay so that no one knew about this. Anika came out to see shevaay sitting on the sofa waiting for her. "kiska call tha?" " sahil ke school se tha, kuch khaas nahi"

"ok toh ab chale?"

"nahi shivaay, main aapke saath nahi ja saqti" shivaay got angry once again.

" kyun nahi aa saqti tum? Abhi toh sab thik tha.."

"saumya nahi hai ghar par. Uske aane ke baad main aa jaungi" shivaay relaxed a bit and agreed that anika would come home after saumya comes back.

Later that day

Saumya was back home anika told her everything. " iss waqt main kisi par trust nahi kar saqti, mujhe tumhari help chahiye." "haa anika di, main kisi se kuch nahi kahungi aur aap bas kahiye aapko kya help chahiye"

Anika knew what she had to do " I'm sorry shivaay, ab main jo karne ja rahi hoon use sabse zyada dukh aapko hoga par mujhe yeh karna hoga aapke liye."

Next day

This was a big step that anika was going to take but it was necessary, she couldn't watch this family break apart. The papers in her hands felt like burning coal but she gathered courage and entered the Oberoi Mansion.

Here shivaay thought that it was time, everyone should know now that Anika was his wife, Mrs Shivaay singh oberoi. And as anika entered he felt her presence.

When shivaay reached downstairs, he saw that everyone was their already, surrounding anika. He neared them and now could hear what they were talking about. "bhabhi aap fir se soch lijiye, are you sure? Iss baar sach mein ho jayega bhabhi" rudra was trying to change her mind .

"maine sab soch liya hai rudra, aur main apna faisla nahi badlungi. Main jo kar rahi hun usimein sabki bhalayi hai" as she said this she looked towards tia and mrs kapoor.

" anika puttar yeh tu thik nahi kar rahi hai. Billu kabhi inn papers par sign nahi karega." Dadi was really upset that anika would do something like this.

Anika's back was facing shivaay and so when he reached her, he made her face him and saw the papers in her had which she was giving him. He took them still not looking away from anika. Shivaay stood frozen in his place after reading the papers. He was furious. After everything that they have gone through she wanted to divorce him? Even after he told her that he never signed the papers before. How could she do this.

He looked into anika's eyes expecting some sign, anything that could tell him that she was just playing a prank on him but it was true because anika wasn't able to meet his eyes. She knew that he would know she didn't mean anything she was saying or doing right now.

Shivaay didn't say anything and took hold of her arm taking her with him. He takes her to their room " yeh sab kya hai anika?" "shivaay main ... Main ab iss rishte mein nahi reh saqti"

"what do you mean nahi reh saqti? Shaadi koi mazaak nahi hai anika... main inn papers par sign nahi karunga"

"nahi shivaay aapko karna hoga please... aap samajhte kyun nahi"

A furious shivaay throws the papers on the bed and takes hold of both her arms now. His hold tight enough to hurt her a little. " sab samajhta hun main, kuch toh hai jo tum mujhe nahi bata rahi ho"

"aisa kuch nahi hai" anika pushes him away " humari shadi se koi khush nahi hai shivaay.. pinky aunty ko haq hai apni bahu choose karne ka aur main unki choice nahi hun."

"humara rishta badal raha hai shivaay par dusro ko dukh deke hum kabhi khush nahi reh payenge"

"anika mom aisi hi hain , tum unki baton ka bura mat maano"

"vo badi hain, unki baton ka bura nahi maanti main shivaay, par ab main iss family ko aur dukh nahi de saqti. Humari shaadi ek samjhauta(compromise) hai shivaay Aur aise rishton ki umar lambi nahi hoti." As soon as she said this she turned away because she was on the verge of crying. She didn't want this anymore than shivaay did, but she had no choice, she had to do something. She needed time to find out exactly what is going on.

"mujhe koi farak nahi padta aur jab main tumse baat kar raha hun toh look at me" and shivaay makes her turn towards him.

Tears slipped down her cheeks and she kept looking at the floor. " kyun kar rahi ho aisa anika" shivaay softens his voice when he sees her crying. He steps closer to her and holds her face in his hands gently.

"hum kabhi ek nahi ho saqte shivaay, zameen aur aasmaan ka farak hai humare beech. Please, papers pe sign kar dijiye." Anika pleaded with him.

" aaj tak shivaay singh oberoi se koi aisa kuch nahi karva paya hai jo vo na karna chahe lekin tumhare liye main kuch bhi kar saqta hun anika" finally giving in, shivaay takes the papers and signs them.

"lekin iss ke liye main tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karunga because you know ki yeh ek bahot badi Galti hai" and shivaay leaves her alone in his room.

Anika looks at his retreating back and then at the papers. She falls down crying " I'm sorry shivaay par aap samajh jayenge ki maine sab sirf aapke liye kiya aur apki bhaiyon ke liye"

Later it was decided that she would stay for a week here and then leave.

Mrs kapoor also paid her a visit.

" well done anika , what a surprise. Muje nahi laga tha ki tum itne acche se samjh jaogi ki tumhe kya karna hai"

" jo aap chahti thi vo ho gaya, ab vo recording mujhe dedijiye" and anika puts her hand forward to take it.

Mrs kapoor pushes her hand away " itni bhi kya jaldi hai? Recording tumhe mil jayegi jab main chahungi" and mrs kapoor leaves.

" itni asaani se toh main bhi aapko jaane nahi doongi mrs kapoor. Yeh toh meri majboori hai ki main kisis ko bata nahi saqti varna aapka khel toh kabka khatam ho jata"

"par main bhi Mrs SSO hun. Itni asaani se aapka peecha nahi chodungi" all anika had to do was find proof and she had a weeks time.
