To lose and find is a condition which humans often go through in life. To lose, hints of being mislaid, led astray, confused and adrift. It may send off negative vibes, which may take shape in loss of employment ,property, security, loss of a loved one. Some also mourn the passing of times and its effects on our persons. To find , often spells of establishment , creation, contentment , and fulfilment. Thus it marks a relative subjective positivity, to different humans in accordance with their individual preferences . To me out of the two conditions the sense of being lost is morepoignant as it brings out the need and vulnerability aspect of our characteristics. Today's episode I watched keeping these two issues of feeling lost and being found at play with each other. Certain implications are conjured up to, that may have a bearing on the plot. The episode has a feel of characters at a loss.. looking out for answers. Some searching's are underway..
At the dining table Suman is on the lookout, how to strike two! with feeding Atharv with the drugged lentils. She has to find away to ward off the curse. She succeeds, but it's Atharv who is put off the unpalatable lentils and what's more he declares he has lost his appetite! ..he'd rather fix his room! In this loss , Atharv finds he manages to retain his faint past.. that girl who visits his dreams at night..even in a reverie .. Suman is lost for words regards Raghav's gradual change of behaviour. Suman needs guidance about what to do next?
In Ajmer, Vividha and family are on tether hooks, they have lost Madhav .. they too need guidance of what to do next? Through the strong hand of the law they find through the cctv footage that the boot of car Madhav was bundled into, has a number plate of Delhi.! Their emotional loss repairs due to the revealed news. While at home Uma's places requests before her lord ,Madhav's safe return. She begs for guidance to be shown the way, and invokes righteous spiritually.. while another.. Suman ..
Suman, for her spiritual instruction ,invokes the forces of evil! Thus proving the significance of Lord Shiva's trident.. that in the realms of the cosmos ,vice and virtue reside side by side! Suman descends down some secret inner sanctum.. she sinks low into the very pit of Hades..darkness marked with dim murky devilish shadows ,numbers, shapes , dice and a veiled woman, who greets her.. a conferring happens between two evil women..one expert the other novice! She opens doors, invokes her veiled anonymous expert and mentor..and cry's for help as she is lost! Atharv is having dreams of his past! She wants to find ways to block his mind effectively! Wants to find ways to wash off the curse off her family!! but the potions she has been given refuse to work... the mentor scoffs Suman, by the powers invested in her by evil incarnate. She knows!! Beware!keep Vividha away from Atharv ...they must not meet before the full moon.. if they do ,the curse will swamp the Vashist family! Suman assures the woman, Vividha will never meet Atharv she lives in Ajmer.. the mentor knows her novice has lost her marbles! Suman argues, Vividha assumes Atharv is dead by now! The mentor, in the meanwhile tells Suman to give Atharv a daily dose of the evil potion! Suman seems to have found her answer.. besides she tells her mentor what reason would Vividha have for returning to Delhi? Since now Vividha loathes Atharv ! Thus Suman leaves the dark realms infused with new found hope of blocking Atharv's memory, confirmed with the confidence that Vividha will never come to Delhi!
Her son's gingerly taken steps in the semi dark alleys of the city will surely bring Vividha his mother to the city of cities Delhi!
Mother at a loss of positivity..concerned only about her sons safety.. Ravish reminds her Madhav has enough information on him about his family by which, he is unlikely to be lost forever and will soon be found. Hence Vividha's reason to return to Delhi is found.
Temporarily lost, Madhav finds the house which destiny brings him to. His strongest point of fate, his biological father..saunters to the window, parts the curtains of his recent immediate past. For in the blue moonlight, pressed against the wrought iron gate, he notices, the figure of a boy.. both are at a loss of recalling their rough encounter. .But Atharv soon loses, what he finds the boy! and blames it on his mind playing tricks!
What is meant for Atharv is barred from others .. hence Guddi goes to bed and Madhav's presence is lost to her..
Far from lost is Madhav in the house he has found as a temporary refuge. With ease finds his way around the house..till the rumblings of his belly urges him to seek food. Is a bit of a challenge! common sense guides him to search for food in the kitchen. What Madhav finds is an offering to the gods, fresh fruit! a bunch of bananas and a shiny round red apple.. food that is the fresh boon of nature intact with purities like the boy Madhav himself..
It's interesting how Madhav manages to find some inhabitants of this household Bhoomi and Vipul and Chintu. But the good for its survival, is sometimes strategically hidden from the eyes of the wicked. The gods turn Chintu's ears deaf with music! when Madhav turns to him for help. For the spotlessness of goodness is such that often impurity can be immersed by its brilliance and hard to make out. It's in such moments that the gods actively veer the attention of dangerous elements ,by making them find lost articles.. Guddi suddenly misses sight of Madhav! by coming across her misplaced charger.
Madhav though still remains the lost charger! which has the energy to establish connection between two unobtainable numbers. His parents Vividha and Atharv. Only he needs to be plugged in to find the current.
But some connections despite the battery charger suffer a loss due to bad network connections. ..i.e the obstacles that the boy and his parents face due to two families, some Vashisht's and some Kashyaps
The issue of lost and found is often in the hands of agencies outside our control. In the house that Atharv lives in now ..as he walks through the corridors of present times unaware of the times when he stalked these very places .. the period still lost to him. Madhav as the symbol of Atharv's past present too travels in the shadows of the opposite direction to him. The question is are they destined to meet one more time? The answer we see in the episode is no... the reason being.. Atharv has yet to gain his memory fully first.. find his lost Vividha .. believe and recognize, her as she is his lost love. Atharv needs to come to terms with all that has changed in the last four years. Deal with the change, presence of Madhav being his son.. there will be issues that will have to be ironed out.. hence Madhav has to move out of Atharv's way, this time and so the boy prefers to hide.
With his wife Guddi on the lookout for him, Atharv heads for the kitchen.. he needs water and has to get his room cleaned.. symbolic references to Atharv. The room has to be his confused mind suffering the loss of last four years memory. Water as in ablution, a cleansing, his soul yearns for! The purification of his mind.. his mind be washed off the impurities that prevent him from finding his lost past..
But Madhav is not lost to what he wants he remembers well his mother's tears.The promise he made to her in the morning that he would return , well Madhav decides, once day breaks he will confess to the people of this house.. he is lost his way! and has to make it back to his home.. Madhav's concern about how his mother must be feeling without him, is reminiscent of how Atharv felt for Sujata..
Well lost and found.. final word, no greater loss there can be more than lovers parting from each other. Like Atharv separated from his soul mate Vividha. No greater joy there can be also , when by the hand of providence called Madhav ,both can find each other. The more fate aligns their paths.The more the forces of evil will consolidate to raise high walls of separation between Atharv and Vividha ..as one sees in the precap that Suman involved in black magic..but goodness is appointed by the gods to see Suman's satanic activities.. hamlet53 7.3. 17
