You may be wondering how I think its Arjun right! Well Jhanvi herself told it didn't she. I believed that she had a misconception that it is Arjun till I saw that sickle. Arjun , Maya and Sanjh were The only ones who knew that Jhanvi is in the godown and they three reached her almost at the same time. Then they three went their ways to search for her which Arjun suggested .Neither Sanjh nor Maya Knew at that given moment where he was and they are still his alibi's. They are only three people in the godown that come for Jhanvi---Maya can't be the killer as she did not make that tantric drama happen(she was in the Temple and unless she made Arjun do it she is out of Radar),Sanjh can't be the one as Jhanvi wouldn't have tried calling her alone if she was the killer and after Jhanvi was threatened with the sickle Arjun appeared near Sanjh after it(she becomes his alibi that he was with her) and when Jhanvi threw that stick Arjun was around.He probably must have seen it and hence diverted Sanjh and Maya to different directions. Then whenever Jhanvi looked at the three of them it was Arjun that was in the frame. Arjun might have possibly gone and threatened Jhanvi and her dialog that I believed you"She believed Arjun enough to give him her Maya, You wanted me to believe that Ashwin's bhoot want to talk with me"Arjun was the one who called his friend to act like that and he also made his friend say that Jhanvi has to write that leeter in which she claims to be responsible for Ashwin's death .Then after Jhanvi fell down Arjun appeared in the frame without even a bit of worry.He did not look like a man searching for a person out of concern.And it was Arjun who suggested it to Sanjh that Jhanvi may be the murderer .He knows that she loves ashwin very much right! And also on the wedding day Arjun was locked in his room just as Maya. Sanjh and Maya were at the temple when Arjun was with Jhanvi. Before that Maya was with her. In such a short span between Maya leaving with sanjh and Jhanvi reaching the godown how could she find out about the real culprit and Arjun's dialog that he wanted to end the story of Ashwin must have been the thing which made Jhanvi to believe that Arjun is the culprit. It could have been a misconception but the threatning of Jhanvi with the sickle proved the truth.
Arjun's love for Maya may also be termed as Beyhadh as he can fight with anyone for her.Also he is Vandana's son and can have knowledge of medicines as his mother was a nurse. I don't think he planned Ashwin's murder though and may have done it in a fit of rage. The letter by Jhanvi clears him of the deed. And Vandana worry will also be proven right"she is not only worrying that Maya is bad omen but also that her son may be trading a dangerous path because of Maya. And the pundit's words come true too. That its Arjun's fight and he has to do it alone.
You may be wondering where Maya's beyhadh comes in all of this. Remember the tagline-it says : Hadh say Jyada kuch bhi accha nahi hota, pyar bhi nahi. That's were Maya's beyhadh comes"she will take the blame on herself and do everything in her power to keep Arjun safe. Even if she has to die in the process. I thought that Arya might be the end game but the 7th vow that Maya took clearly puts her life at stake .Arjun killed Ashwin in his Beyhadh love, Maya will die trying to save hers. That's the vow isn't it-I will keep loving you till my last breath.
And this proves the pundit words true- As Maya dies Arjun will have everything: money ,fame, name ; but he will lose his world"Maya. That's the price he'll pay.And if there is a season 2 then they can bring back Maya in a new avatar too.And if I may add the Mauritius pundit did say that your darkness must be fought only by you and don't pull him into it, but Maya pulled Arjun into her darkness and hence the burning of the diyas and their flame merging into one.Arjun's light may have made Maya into the person who could control her anger inspite of Vandana slapping her but Arjun's beyhadh love for Maya has cost him his light when he killed Ashwin.
Of all the characters its Arjun that has been the most shallow ,like as if what we are shown is but a mask to hide what is underneath. When that mask will lift we'll get to see the real Arjun's beyhadh.
