Jhoomar song, fight scene, Jauhar, screen play, acting all elements have to come together. Rajashtani culture is over exposed and is seen frequently on TV serials. There is nothing new about Padmavati. And budget is ever increasing like balloon thanks to Karni Sena. There is no clash to hype it... 😭

For sake of Bollywood and Ranveer I hope it works... 😃

I think it will do really well. But most people on here are gonna be skeptical until it rakes in all the moolah. Happened with Ram Leela and Bajiro Mastani. 😆

I think SLB is one film maker who can sell a film with his name no matter who stars in his movie..secondly historical figures, Indian background are his fortes...Har din people complains about Indian poverty being portrayed on celluloid so SLB's films are grand opportunities to submerge in Indian style grandeur and get shifted to a rich opulent era and get marveled at our history..That's why his films do well ad connects to a certain section of audience like me and they are meant for big screen..

Also a lot of interest gets generated from his teasers and trailers which are generally outstanding probably the best in the business..It happened during BM..It was a lost cause till the teaser came out sometime around August I think and put BM in a commanding position..So all boils down to the teaser for me..I am hoping its as good as BM.

Depends on the trailer . Bazirao had great sets and trailer was gr8 which intrigued people where as that hrithik roshan makkhi movie was so bland 😆.

So padmavati needs gr8 trailer and atleast 2 good songs

What we know

1. Excellent costumes and nice songs.

2. DP will look gorgeous,

3. Ranveer will be all oiled with one shirtless scene thrown in. Have to see if Shahid will be oiled too. 🤔

4. Nice battle scenes

It comes down to budget. If the budget is as big as they say, it must make a good amount before it can be considered a hit. It can earn be a good movie, earn a decent figure and still be a flop because of budget. SLB needs to responsible enough to keep a rein on the budget.
