Sorry for going against the majority sentiment, but I feel things are no bad story or continuity wise.
First of all, Mehek is a 21 yr old girl who has ultimately fallen in love with Shourya. So, if she wants a chance to find her love and is trying hard for that there is nothing wrong with that. For people telling her to grow a spine , being a doormat and not having a self respect, if you understand one thing that she considers Shourya and herself to be one person , it wont be difficult to understand her action. When she ignored Shourya's barbs and was thinking about ways to save his restaurant, it was because for her shourya is no different than her. I dont mean to say that a girl doesnt have to have any self respect when it comes to her man. It's just that please dont judge Mehek randomly. Judge her any other flawed person in love.
Coming to Shourya, he is the utlimate a**hole, rude , insensitive and certified jerk. But, in Friday's episode his remembering mehek did not seem rushed. He finally achieved what he wanted i.e his restaurant's success. But with that, Mehek also left him. Till now in all the fake loving and fighting , she was with him every moment. But, suddenly it somewhere stuck him that she would no longer be there with him or for him. And that caused him to tear up with emotions. But, its still not love, they have not shown that. So, I guess for me the show is going at a good pace.
Only thing I didnt favor much is the precap when Mehek starts a sentence with if you really loved me.
That was somewhere no adding up. she could have said , if you ever respected me or loved PD. But, I dont want to judge and neither should you.
