During WW 2 England was still ruling over India and thousands of Indian soldiers died fighting for and in the British army .

Netaji Subhash who was a famous Indian freedom fighter was fighting against British army, he took the help of Japanese army and attacked British army in Burma. Netaji's army was called INA, but they lost that battle and INA surrendered to British army.

Unfortunately current generation of Indians dont know that part of Indian history.

Most of the stuff I've read/studied was usa/Japan/Europe/Stalin/Hitler etc
