What has happened to indian tv series. Why all of them are having the idea of a male to be an arrogant son of a bitch to be sexy? Its like this has become a trend. "Oh lets make male character who treats the girl like shit but then turn this into a fairy tale romance by turning him from the beast to a Prince." (Is it me, or did that almost rhymed!)
I personally hate it. I hate male character like shaurya. I was so hoping that they wouldn't turn him into one but after the marriage track ended, i wanted to stop watching.
This is 21st century. And i don't think any girl or woman will like to be treated that way. I know for sure i wouldn't, no matter how much i love that person. Because its just wrong. And i know a lot of people will shoot bullets at me for saying this but i think the show is turning into shit. Making Shaurya arrogant and mehak a desperate girl for her lost love, is not doing the women any justice.
I watch Hollywood tv series, so maybe for me this came out more of a shock. Recently i have been trying to get in touch with indian series and i started watching this during the love confession time. Knowing he was a jerk before but happy that it wasn't for long, i liked the show at first. Now I'm just done with it. I don't understand why Mehak can't be shown strong who instead of focusing on the ill behavior from shaurya, she should focus on her life. And how she can improve it. Became the best cook out there and show him that girls are not a toy to be played with.
