Sridevi in her hey day was known for her marvelous acting skills and fact that she could carry her own film with out presence of no.1 male star. Her personal life was dictated by bad romantic decision - falling in love with 2 married men Mithun Chakravarty and Boney Kapoor, poor relation with parents (her mom was said to be ogre personified), closeness and then enmity with her sister, her family handling her finance and abuse. And yes Sridevi was outsider and while she had better entry in Bollywood, her entry in film industry was that of hard struggler.

Kangana again is a great actress who has 3 NA in her kitty and she is known to carry her own film with out presence of no.1 male star. Her personal life is equally messy filled with unhappy relations with parents and multitude love affair that came to nothing. Like Sri Kangs is outsider who had to bellofy lot of pappads to make it to big league.

1.kangana is a far far better actress than Sridevi ji
2.kangana is not pretentious good or bad she
never wears masks of goodness.even if evil bt if honest
abt evilness then its better than those who has two faces.
3.kangana is more beautiful n never married a brother
like Shri Devi ji did as i read in this forum(forgot who posted it 🤔).

conclusion.kangana is not like Shri Devi ji..
she is far better.

Except the fact they dated married men and had problems with their families, I don't think they can and should be compared. Kangana has had one film reach 150 crores. And none else was hit except Queen maybe with her as the more popular star in it. So, can't quite say that she can carry a movie on her own.

Kangana is a good actress but Sri Devi was known for her acting, her dance, her beauty, her chirpiness... Not Kangana. Sri Devi, afaik, wasn't as bold or careless in making statements as Kangana is either. I don't think they are comparable at all.

@topic...kangana is as good if not better than sridevi.

i saw a critic saying that she is like meena kumari.

you know what...maybe todays actors are better than yesterdays actresses, we always say how meena kumari, nutan, waheeda, etc were so good, but i find some today's actors absolute brilliant as well.

they also work very hard. also, don't forget yesteryear actors and actresses had brilliant roles, scripts to work with. today the scripts are the biggest culprits.

i am only talking about them as performers😆don't care much about their personal life and beauty.
