Sridevi for one was very close to her parents, almost dysfunctionally so was a wage earner from very young age. She did not and still don't think has life skills. I think the appeal with Bonnie was more that he would take care of her after her parents.

Kangy is manipulative, but she is independent. I am pretty sure the woman can manage her life.

Not even close...Sridevi was much bigger superstar...sri should be compared to madhuri not kangana... Kangana had recently couple of huge hits like twm2 and queen but had couple of flops also. We may have to wait for few more years to see if she can stabilise herself as superstar or will go down

Similarities

As cutting chai said both have highly irritating voice.

Both of them are homewrecker ( I blame it on their male partners too)

Differences

Sri Dev is far more prettier (thanks to her surgical nose) than Kangu

Sri is better actress than Kangu

Sri is not delusional like Kangu who writes fake scripts inside her head ( which she thinks real)

Sri does not give psychotic vibes

No.

On a personal level: They both may be homewreckers but Sir Devi did not go about flaunting her affairs and giving statements to the media on her achievement. Sri Devi played it well and was cunning enough to get Boney to marry her while KR got desperate when her attempt failed and she lost respect too.

On a professional level: Sri Devi is a far better actress/performer than Kangana can ever be. KR is a decent actress but she doesn't hold my attention throughout the movie or make me connect with her like Sri Devi does. English Vinglish as an example was far better than Queen for me as Sri Dev was fab. KR, on the other hand, is good at emotional roles but Sri Devi was more successful than her in Bollywood.
