i dnt agree. i think considering how most movies are flopping these days and the producers and actors should realize when a movie is risky to cut costs and make it on a small budget. ranbir fees being nearly half of the costs of a movie is not correct. and when actors are demanding so much then they should be replaced. only actors who deserve huge amts of money is salman and aamir. no one else. salman from wanted has not had a real flop, his lowest is jai ho which is over a 100 and prdp which did not do too well. these directors are going to media hyped actors like ranbir and kangana when neither of them have a true connect to the audience and are said to be the best actor and actress in BW. and whats the use of them using art type actors when the movies that are bombing are with actors and actress who are said to be the best. and we cnt have commercial cinema dominated by the likes of kjo he is so useless

And then people complain when only shitty movies are made. Some movies are about the director's vision. It's something they want to convey through their art. I think directors should compromise and do the movie they want to do comes what it may.
Their is enough space for artistic, commercial and content-driven movies imo. It's more about the production team having to work on the faisability of the projects and what they can finance or not...

I kind of agree.
Because some of the directors are forced to do such films when their films are not of that scale.

Eg, Anurag vision is pretty open and he can explore and some formulaic success films dont exactly follow that. Its better to have a small budget and get a hit tag than to have a big budget and struggle to touch the mark. Applies for both directors and producers.
