Something really interesting happened post leap... We get to read some extremely different analysis about each episode and each character. Specifically Dev and Sona...!!
Everyday while watching the episode, i try to think from both the sides... Try to understand Dev's perspective as well as Sona's... I believe in the theory of "Two Sides Of The Same Coin"... There are 2 ways on looking into everything... And i look at both the sides of the story and try to understand it.
After yesterday's confrontation scene, which is yet not been shown fully and will complete today... I felt the hurt, the pain and restlessness in both Dev and Sona and here i am with my analysis.
This is solely my POV and you may have different thoughts about it.
Let me start with Dev... He has been bashed a lot in the forum for every single action... I want to give him some break from the bashing he's getting on a daily basis.
Dev
I want to start from the time he came across the truth. There was not even a single trace of anger. He was happy for Sona "Sonakshi Maa Ban Gayi... Sonakshi Mere Bachche Ki Maa... Sonakshi Suhana Ki Maa Hai... Suhana Meri Beti Hai"...!!!
Sonakshi Maa Ban Gayi - Wasn't he happy for his Sona... Yes he was... It was visible in his eyes... The way while leaving he looked at the wall with pictures of Sona and Suhana... His girl and his baby girl with so much of love... He saw his world right infront of his eyes... He got back the reason to live...!!!
When he came back and narrated everything to his family he said "Meri Beti... Sonakshi Ki Beti"... He was talking about their daughter and was a proud father there.
Then the next day when he came back from the school, he said... Hum me se kisike jaisi nahi hai wo. Ekdum alag hai... Ekdum anokhi... Bikul apni Maa pe gayi hai... Choti Sonakshi hai".
And how proud he was to tell everyone, she's like Sona... He always wanted a Tiny Sonakshi... And now he has one and for him she's exactly like Sona, which makes him happier.
But then his mother started and what she said in the end "Usne Suhana Ko Tujhse Chuppa Kar Rakha"... This is when he got thinking... Anybody in place of him would have got angry on why he was not aware of his own child for 6 long years... Why was it kept as a secret from him... While reminsing his recent moments with Suhana, Dev remembered Sona's story of the Sunflower and the Sun..!!!
He was angry as according to him Sona has hidden the truth from him for 7 long years.
Yes he made it frustrating for her to reach him. He made roam around and at the end called her at there office to meet him... But was it a game for him? No... It was his anger... He wanted to let her know that when roaming clueless for few minutes to some places can make her frustrated, what must be a father's feeling who wasn't aware of his own child for 6 long years. He was living an aimless life for all those years.
He was super angry and this time unlike all the previous incidences he'll not melt looking at Sona. He was extremely furious...!!!
Tum aisa kaise kar sakti ho? Mujhe meri beti se door kaise rakh sakti ho?'
He couldn't believe Sona can do something like that to him (And he was right.)
This time, I won't let go... Ab main woh karoonga jo mujhe theek lagta hai'.
I thought it to be a future indication... May be i am wrong.. But it can be a hint that this time he won't let go of his love and his daughter too.
Woh khud mere paas chalke aayegi aur tum kuch nahi kar paaogi'.
Dev Dixit ki zindagi ka ek hi maqsad hai... uski beti ko paana'.
Ab main sirf apni beti ke liye jeeunga, usey paane ke liye kuch bhi karoonga'.
Aaj tak toh main dushmani nibhaa raha tha, who bhi usoolon ke saath, lekin ab baat meri beti ki hai, Meri auulad ki hai, mere khoon ki...Naa hi usool honge aur naa hi aadarsh'

And now when he thought Sona was the one at fault... He just want his daughter now... He was deprived of her for 6 years... It is hurting her to know he has missed the initial years of his daughter's upbringing... He couldn't be with her... He has not seen her growing... He has not experienced anything all these years...!!!
He couldn't hold her when she was born.
He couldn't hear the first word she has learnt to speak.
He was not with her when she took her first step... When she was learning to walk.
He was not with her on her first day to school.
He has not seen her laughing, crying, smiling all these years... He has never attended any of his school events..!!!
He has not experienced any of these things.
"Wo tumhari beti nhi hai, wo humari beti hai"
"Tumhari life mein mujhe koi jagah ki zaroorat hai bhi nahi, lekin who beti jitni tumhaari hai, utni meri bhi hai".
He never said Suhana is only his daughter. She is their daughter and he too deserves to be with her. He was thinking Sona has kept him in dark.. She is responsible for keeping him away from his daughter. She wanted to keep it as a secret all life.
